Yep was through AC - David Harrison contact posted here earlier in thread. Quote date was 2nd of April - must've been a cancellation I think from the old deals!

I find that once I’ve bought or signed up to something, it’s best not to look at any other prices biggrin

Test drove an M135i the other day.

As a comparison to my Cupra 290 it’s got much better interior quality and finish as expected. The exterior is nicer to look at imo too.

Drive- feels like a luxury/hot hatch with less road noise and better over rough roads whereas the Cupra “feels” faster and more fun.

Sound- Cupra is louder with pops and bangs. M135i exhaust note has a nicer tone and no pops and bangs

Tech- M135i miles ahead

Overall happy with the decision and definitely an upgrade!

Cool, thanks for that.
My Cupra 290 lease goes back once the M135i arrives.

Just been informed my 128ti is confirmed as end of May delivery. Tempted to pay the extra and ditch the Cupra which was due back September.

Who is your Cupra with?
Mine is with ALD and I think they charge 100% of any outstanding payments although mine is due back end of July.

Seem to have got lucky with picking up one of the old AC deals for the 128 ti. £245pm on 6+35 8K per year with BMW service pack and performance tyres. It's misano blue - ideally was looking for storm bay but BMW quoted me £405 for the same car but different colour!!! Mid may delivery to the dealership.
Any links ?

Yep, my original first lease (can’t remember who with) on a Fiesta ST back in 2015 was also 100%....infact think AC is as well?

VWFS is 55%.

There is a new Carwow review of the 128 on YouTube. A few points from it are:-

The car has launch control.
He managed a 5.9 sec 0-60 time.
The ti decals on the rear panels were peeling off already!

Overall though, he liked the car.

Joining the club here after a week of umming and ahhhing over the 128ti or the hybrid A Class (I know, I know) heart has ruled head and I’ve just had some blinding quotes from Arnold Clark so wanted to say thank you to the guys who have recommended. Has anyone who placed order received theirs yet?

When did you place your order? Mine was confirmed on 1 April and I was also told August / September. Would love for mine to come in May but would rather have less expectation!

Do you know what happens when it's taken off?
eg you ask them to take it off which means you need to source the normal plates before it goes back or does it actually go back with your private plate and then they put it on retention for you?
Taken off before it goes back, the cars original plates should come with the car still so you just have to put them on when they collect.

You will want it to be off before they collect so you can be 100% sure you still have your personal reg.
I queried the end of lease and taking the plates off with Lynn and she said the car goes back with your plate on and they arrange with the DVLA to put it back on retention for you (if you aren’t getting another car from them that is otherwise they can transfer it over).

Interesting...

Complete opposite to other lease companies I have used in the past such as VWFS ect, but guess the difference is AC will probably keep the cars to sell in their own used car superstores so they go back to an AC facility
