I had the exact same problem two years ago when my Golf was damaged two days before it went back. I couldn't get my insurance to deal with it sensibly ( worth a call though) and they wanted to charge me £1k for the extra cover. It became a very painful experience.

I deferred delivery of my new car until the old lease was returned & changed the car over on the insurance.

Arrived today on a low loader, 6 miles on the clock and eagle F1 tyres.. pleased about that.

I only ordered beginning of April but I took over someone’s return as got the older prices, not sure when they ordered.

A funder/dealer might give you some cover for 24 hrs, but the easiest thing is just to have your old car picked up a day earlier or the new one delivered a day later. Saves a load of messing with your insurance company.

That’s what I’ll end up doing. It’s just a pain fitting it in as I’m chock busy with work visits that week.

I've recently seen a white M135i on a 21 plate parked on my street a couple of times with the pro pack (557 alloys, look good). Got to say it does look very nice and i must admit the standard seats don't look too bad at all. I've gone for black dakota leather but only costing me £648 over 3 years (£18pm) so can live with that. Last update i had was ETA of early August. Giulia Veloce due back mid October so will push back delivery to nearer then.

Anyone heard anything from Arnold Clark about the HK audio being stopped on their order?
Saw a few posts on the Facebook owners groups about it but not read anything from any of the Arnold Clark orders as of yet.

For those waiting on a delivery date and wanting rough timescales, I submitted my order on 23rd Feb for my 128ti and AC emailed me today with a delivery date of 18th May

Question - I know it comes with the Digi cockpit now but is the screen also larger?

Anyone heard about the HK issues? Just read on babybmw that some cars won’t be able to have HK and wireless as there is a shortage on chips for them.

Shouldn’t affect M135i builds (hopefully) but other models will be affected

Yes but I believe there was a price increase to allow for this too. Some people who ordered before it was announced managed to get it without paying any extra.
