Got pissed off with her 125i.
I bought a used Yaw sensor for my E46 and it’s been fine for five years. I’d give a used one a go. Supposedly putting the old one in the freezer can re-vitalise them too.Holiday mode here too. Cornwall for two weeks. With a city break in London In the middle due to poor planning.

They’re not expensive Simon definitely considering that. The one thing that is confusing me is that the error code description refers to rear left which is the side where the ABS sensor died. I ended up taking the car to the garage in place of my 130 which is now behaving itself.
Turns out it was a dud sensor that I’d bought. Although the main ABS sensor code had gone, the car was not receiving a signal from the sensor hence the ongoing warning lights and error code. Just to be sure that there was nothing else awry, I left it with the garage to sort.
I’m properly cheesed off with myself for departing from my usual tendency to buy properly branded sensors and two for not waiting (the second one is with hindsight obviously). My biggest concern was that if I’d bought another sensor that arrived say Thursday and that didn’t work, I’d be back to quart one waiting two weeks to get it into my local indy. Oh well, an expensive lesson learned.

I’ve bought a 135i back box for my 130i which I need collect / find somewhere to fit it. Any suggestions for good exhaust places in the Midlands?
I’m also considering the removal of the resonator too to free up a bit more noise.
I’d have liked the BMW Performance exhaust, but they sell for crazy money these days so the 135i box is the next next thing.
I’ve also found a Z3 shifter that I need to fit at some point. Again, the official SSK is hard to get hold of and these seem to be a cheap alternative.

Evening all, enjoyed reading these posts.
My achievement for the day is replacing the CCV and associated pipes on my E46 330i Touring. It had been running badly since having the starter motor changed and it seems that I damaged the pipe that runs from the valve cover down to the separator. I need to buy a smoke tester - I reckon I’ve had the intake manifold in and out 5 times this week looking for the leak. Having found it I decided to change the lot as i reckon I can do without another pipe failing as I put it together again, they’re quite brittle at the connectors.

Well done; it's a faffy job!My achievement for the day is replacing the CCV and associated pipes on my E46 330i Touring. I always recommend to do it with the inlet mani off & out of the way; so much better access then!
Did you replace the inlet mani gaskets? And have you checked the vac connections on the back of the block?

Thanks! Didn’t replace manifold gaskets - they still seemed pretty pliable. I also don’t know about vac connections on the back of the block - just the 3 on the back of the inlet manifold (2 capped, 1 connected to vac canister which I think is for exhaust flap). It’s running well though - fuel trim and oxygen sensor errors gone, mpg up in the mid-high 20s (from teens) and I can see in INPA that the short term fuel trims are in range so, fingers crossed, I’ve sorted it.

Full on YouTube sound clip & drive-by, or it never happened
Drive by will take some doing at the moment - the roads are saturated & I'll need to find a suitable location. Here's a quick before and after though.https://youtu.be/lLesbCB-34k

Ordered some 20” Veemann VC7 alloys from BM Autosport & Eibach springs for the 630i.. Bit bored with the oe 218 style alloys and ‘rally car’ arch gaps..
Nice choice; they will suit it to a tee Pictures (of when fitted); or it never happened
Due for delivery end of the week.. so I will be back with pics
