Did an oil and filter change on Sunday. Yesterday I took the E30 for a run up the Atlantic Highway to Barnstaple and back. Stopped off in Bude and chatted to a 911 GT3 RS owner and got a proper look at the aero stuff. What a car!

For 25 years I've parked next to this

so this was bound to happen eventually

Swapped the winters over to the summers, looks like I didn't dry them too well before putting them away. Time to give the local refurb guys a call.

After many kilometres on the autobahn with long stretches at 200km/H, I barely had a mark on my windscreen.

It took a minor back road in Hungary to see it off.

Thankfully covered by insurance and getting changed in Germany on Thursday...

Washed it. Spring = tree pollen so returned from the weekend away to a green car. But the ceramic coating makes it a doddle to clean. As we re recommending our cleaning kit, I m very pleased with my Worx Hydroshot battery pressure washer - just so much easier to work around the car than my Karcher K4.

Fantastic looking car. How much run time do you get out of the Hydroshot please? I have a £17 (!) Ali Express copy and it's 15mn max.

£17?! I'm not sure the Worx will be worth the 10X uplift (inc. accessories).

I have the 56bar version with 4.0Ah battery. It has an 'eco' mode and I can comfortably do a whole car as follows:

1) Snow foam with the lance attachment on eco setting (lower flow gives better foam)
2) Blast off the whole car on full power
<wash the car as normal>
3) Rinse on eco or blast on full as required

The battery has never failed to finish the job. No idea on continuous run time though; can't seem to find a rating for the motor. What battery does you AliExpress one have? 15min on max is probably about right

It's gone up to £23 but I paid £17.39 landed 2 months ago. Probably cheaper elsewhere on AliEx.

It takes 8 hours to recharge!

Edit it says £17.98 now biglaugh

At that price, buy another to get a couple more batteries and double your run time!

Probably! Or might source a bigger spare battery separately.

After a long week at work I was desperate to go for a spin, ended up finishing late but my brother was up for a drive. Turns out I needed to adjust the headlights a bit after the coilovers so I messed about doing that when we got back. My brother then suggested we swap so I could check my own headlights didn't blind me laugh His C63s is like a ballistic missile, I've driven a few quick cars but this thing must be up there in a straight line. We finally got them just right, then realised it was nearly midnight and my neighbours probably didn't enjoy the sound of our V8s as much as we did so decided to call it a day.

Very happy with how it drives now too!

Had what I thought was a slow puncture on the 135, popped to the local tyre place and they discovered a crack in the wheel.

Marvelous rolleyes

In all fairness with the state of the roads I'm amazed it's not happend already, not that I actually recall hitting anything.

Gave my temporary 71 plate X3 (my Dad's - I've got it whilst he can't drive due to his smashed left tibia) a full in-depth interior detail... So much detritus in the car it was unbelievable rolleyeslaugh

Looks much better now; utilised an old F31 boot liner too for the boot; it's not far off fitting properly, a few bits trimmed here n there wink

Its that a new model M135i? BMW might cover that under warranty. We'd similar on my wifes Z4 and they paid for a brand new rim.

If that's on RFTs, there's your issue...

RFTs and BMW alloys don't do well together, at all

It's an F40, 2020 so only under the extended BMW warranty these days. I dread to think how long it would take to get it sorted via BMW. I've had it repaired locally as I needed my car back pronto. Seems OK, tidy job etc so fingers crossed it'll be alright now (until next time)

No RFTs fitted, I'm guessing the previous owner decided to ditch them which is a bonus.

It's weird because I had just crushed over to my parents house and hadn't hit anything on the way. I guess it was an older one and it's finally decided to let go there and then.

Bit of a ball ache with no spare!
