Finally got it into the storage barn, took my Panda out and squeezed the M3 in, all tucked up nicely. Bought a battery maintainer and hooked that up too.

Not fancy popping a cover on it to stop it getting dusty?

Always like the extra value juicy bit. The lurking race Mazda.

I thought about that today actually, any recommendations?

Haha, my mate races them, his final race was a rough one so the poor cars a bit battered but it'll be ready to go again in the spring. Fisheye picture making it look a bit of a funny shape in this one!

I've tucked my 540i away now until the New Year more than likely:

You just need to get the right one for your size of car

Added a CF hand brake lever. I don't normally like CF but it matches the trim albeit in gloss rather than matt. I might sand it down. Still better than the OE pleather.

Ordered 2 rear tyres for the 630i. Conti Sport Contact 7. Were notably cheaper than the equivalents from Michelin or Goodyear.

^ I have noticed that
CSC7 for the M2 are £700 for 4 corners as opposed to £970 for the Michelins.

Really dig the Conti SC7. Good wet/dry test performance. I’m now rolling on some of the new Pirelli P Zero (PZ5) that now outperform the SC7 and PS4S. Pirelli have gone from test zero to hero with the new PZ5.

I always read good stuff about them too. I've disliked Conti's for years after having them on the Z4M/E92 M3 and the GLE400d to be honest. However I've now got Premium Contact 6's on the X5 and I'm really happy with them, plus they're wearing really well too, so that's another bonus.

I went for them on my c43. I think they were maybe £250 to £280 cheaper than Michelin for the four. They get a rep for wearing quicker. That might negate any price benefit. 4k miles in so far. Must measure the wear and see where we are.

My F95 came with PZ4s, I'll certainly be looking at the PZ5 when it's time to change.

I know that in general Pirelli get a lot of stick, but I was happy with them on the GLE400d with the ones that came on it from the factory(PZ4). Certain tyres seem to suit certain cars I've found.

I have the same prejudice against Bridgestone after my experience of their RE050A RFTs on our 330i (and Z4).

Yeah, saw they won the most recent UHP tyre test on TyreReviews.

Didn't see the PZ5 as an option for the size I wanted though.

£224 for the PZ4 though.

They're the new daddy if all round performance is your bag. They need to roll out more sizes. I'm waiting for some 20/21 inch in the correct PZ5 profile to hit the market.
