Has anyone had this fitted to a 4 series? Apparently the exhaust sounds better and the ECU is reflashed to produce more power and torque. Does anyone have real world experience?

Had it on my 4GC.

Ups the power to 360bhp-ish (usually found out to be a lot more) and torque to 500NM.

The exhaust is lovely, it's valved and VERY loud in sport when it's opened up.

Well worth it, used to be able to get it fitted for about £1300 which is a total bargain.

Only possible on cars pre OPF, so roughly before Sept 2018.

If you can, do it.

That’s really cheap. I can’t find it for less than £1700 fitted. Who suggests they make more than 360bhp?

The MPPSK is something I’m seriously considering when I get some time to find a decent deal locally.

I think the higher power comment comes from people who’ve had the kit fitted and then put the car on the dyno only to find that BMW’s quoted figures were pessimistic. I’ve also heard/read this regarding standard cars.

I got the MPPSK fitted to my 340i - totally transformed the car. Haven't had it dyno'd but looking to at some point.

Douglas Park in Hamilton - £1220 with chrome tips, £1370 with carbon.

Is that fitted? If that was local to me, I'd have my car booked in straight away. Chrome tips for me - I really dislike the carbon ones for some reason.

I’ve got the other carbon bits on the car already. That’s a great price. Is it in Scotland?

Yes that's fitted. I went for Carbon tips. That was what I paid back in August last year, so not sure if they're still quoting the same.

Cheers Comacchio. I’ll get in touch with them.

Mark-

I’ve called them. Very helpful and the price you quote is correct. That’s the cheapest fitted price in the UK as far as I can see. Other dealers nigh on accused me of lying when I asked if those more local to me would match. Great tip. Thanks.

Glad to be of service! Good stuff that they still have it at that price.

I took my standard exhaust back off them and flogged it on Facebook marketplace for £150.

Thanks again both. That's a bargain - using man-maths, it could be worth a weekend up there to get it done wink

I would also speak to Bluebell Crewe, Marshalls Bournemouth and Cooper Reading all of them are competative, Think I paid around £1300 fitted at

Marshalls. I read on one of the forums that their is a sales guy at Cooper Reading who's a real petrolhead and bizarrely he does the best price, If you do a

bit of googling on the BMW forums you should find his name and ask for him when you call for a price.

Bluebell Crewe would be relatively easy for me. I’ll give them a call.

Called Bluebell BMW Crewe this morning (which is actually now Lookers BMW Crewe) and they quoted £1700 fitted.

What's the cheapest anybody else has found other than Douglas Park Hamilton?

Spoke to Reading. £1750 with a healthy dose of incredulity about the Hamilton price. Might look to get a price to get the car trailered there. Amazed no other dealer can get near it.

Not sure where you all are in the UK, but hypothetically a trip from say, Birmingham to Hamilton is about a tank and a half of fuel, so £150 thereabouts, 4.5 hours each way with maybe 2 hours max for fitting - easily doable on a Saturday if they can accommodate you. Spend your 2 hours browsing the showroom then pop next door to McLaren and Bentley also.

They can’t do it on a Saturday. I’m in Surrey. It’s too much driving to knock off in a day.
