Hi,

Feel a bit strange in here as my first car is a cerbera 4.2 and normally fight with the M`s on the Mway. However 3 kids say we have to have a second car and as I hate our current one (S40 T Se) A second car replacment was due.

A trip to Scothall reveals a rather nice saphire black with yellow leather sept 2001 325i.....lots of other bits (that I havent a clue what they do!!!) and £5 short of £24,000 I have me`s a second car this Thursday.

Any thoughts on this car! Oh it has 18" M V Spoke alloys Sports Sus cornering brake control? Park Distance (iknow what that is) M sports package and seats check control (Whatever that is) and more to boot

So is it nice , or is it a miss?

They are one of the most competent cars ever made, IMHO, but not one of the most inspiring. As long as you don't expect it to excite like a TVR etc. then you will get along fine with it. Like the school swot, so good it's a bit boring. Depends if you get turned on by its overall competence or whether you will quickly get bored by it.

Cheers
