Hi, Newbie here, be gentle with me. Just recently bought my first BMW. Weather has restricted use over the last couple of weekends but nevertheless I'm still lovin it.

A couple of pics, hope you love it as much I do.

Sorry about the Volvo in the back ground - my daily mile muncher. Being replaced by a new 5 Series in April - can't wait

Welcome your comments

I said goodbye to mine today, so this is a posthumous post. A 530d which the original owner had fully loaded with toys. I miss her already, and wonder if I will come to regard it as the best car I will ever own.

This picture from a cycling holiday in France...

That looks like a good 'un!

Since I'm a new owner of an E39 Tourer, and looking for a roof rack for carrying bikes, do you have any knowledge that you can pass on? Are there any particularly good / bad systems?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That looks lovely, nice work on the eyebrows!

The TM button activates Traffic Master on the Nav. But it's a system that doesnt work anymore so you may as well remove it and fit the cupholders.
Cool, anyidea what the knob next to it is?

My latest....1988 E30 318i Auto with 51700 miles. FSH with complete unused toolkit, torch, even the service books are like new with the aerial cleaning wet-wipe intact. And NO dash cracks! Already had three cambelts. Rare in Mineral Blue too. Ok....so it's a plodder, but I quite like it's simplicity.

I have a 1987 E30 M3...mildly updated with Faulkner springs, AVO adjustable dampers, polybushed throughout, front strut brace, Black Diamond brake discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads and braided lines, evo sport rear spoiler, Powerflow custom exhaust engine has been fully rebuilt...balanced, lightened, ported, matched and polished head/throttles, evo 2 inlet cam and remap to suit also has a Z3 gearshift.

My daily drive is a 1996 E36 328iSE manual saloon...it has no aircon, no traction control but it has elctric roof, sports leather interior and full OBC.
