Yup, the stylish lines made the saloon look very frumpy. Not quite as convenient as the four door but the amount of journeys we need the extra doors, I can easily and happily live with the two.
And of course those extra and useful features like xeones.
Looks cheap at 7 grand.
Was looking for several months to find a 325i or 330i. This car popped up as a private purchase, the owner had just had a new born and found the coupe unsuitable for thier needs. They had already purchased a new merc’ and simply wanted to see the BMW go sooner rather than later. I was sceptical at first owing to the low ad’ price at £7250,spoke on phone and price set in concrete, hardly surprising. However, after a test drive they settled at my offer of £7000.
It could do with all wheels being refurbed and new tyres in three or four thousand miles. Other than that it’s a smart car and runs as it should. I feel it is something of a bargain tbh.
Not a bad deal there.

I sold my 325i SE coupe about 6 months ago. 10 plate with about 50k. Immaculate. FBMWSH. Pro-nav, heated sports seats, xenons. Got £10k for it.

Thanks, like I said the tyres are half worn or just over half, run flats which are absolute crap. Tram line, harsh knobbly ride whilst the suspension smooths out the bumps. Refurb alloys. I will fit conventional tyres when the time comes, Goodyear Eagle F1.

Couple of snaps from the Denbies, Dorking Sunday Service. Plenty of top cars including a late 80's red E30 M3.

That looks incredible. The e39 M5 is one of my favourite cars, especially in that colour

Cheers Stu, the colour is Estoril Blau Metallic. Its a BMW 'Individual' colour that was common on M3's / more modern BMW but very rare on E39's.

I believe there were only 33 E39s painted in this colour at the factory!

32 RHD E39 M5's in Estoril Blue.

It is a fabulous colour for an E39, it looks quite a lot lighter in the flesh than in your pictures.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but black wheels, black kidney grilles, black exhaust tips (i think?). Comes with some options already ticked too like driver comfort pack (again, i think?).

No difference in suspension or power. Just cosmetic. Nice though

Duh you can clearly see the shadow of the car in the picture! What do you think it means? hehe

Yeah - it is mainly cosmetic stuff as mentioned above along with darkened lights and a few extra pieces like parking sensors, cruise control and upgraded audio thrown in.

Its along the same lines as the Black Edition stuff that Audi too; purely a marketing tool to increase sales on an aging car.

Is it aging - I guess so. Does that mean we are due a new 1 soon?
