I've quickly fallen in love with mine. I was not really able to stretch my budget far enough to get myself a Z4M Coupe, but have been impressed by the fact the car can be both savage and refined at the same time. Having the S54 is just the icing on the cake tbh.

The wife's i8. Picked it up yesterday from our local main dealer. I drove it this morning and am actually very impressed. Didn't think I'd like it as much as I did

That colour really suits the E46 Coupe shape!

Looks like it's pretty clean and standard, what are the specs? Do you have any future plans for it, or are you just going to enjoy it as is?

I recently managed to finish off a few small cosmetic jobs on my Z4M and while the weather was nice, took a few pics with the roof down.

It's really hard to take a pic of the car, where you are able to see the blue tones in the Carbon Black paint scheme. I think I managed it in my last pic. I have been taking pics using the camera on my iPhone X, which cause the pics to lack the colour and crispness of a proper camera/Samsung camera phone.

Looks great, love a good looking black car!

Mines steel grey, a colour only used on the very early ones I believe. It is still in original spec other than H&R springs. I have the original sales material with all of the options it has circled to prove that is the case. Really pleased with it, I did start a little thread on it earlier in the year but can’t seem to find it, the search facility here is hard work!!

Edited to add, Found it! https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

52 plate e46 M3, manual on 91k - I'm the second owner and have had it 10 years now:

Bought this a few weeks ago (M6 GC competition):

Them together:

Keeping the e46 for now as I think they're becoming hard to find in the condition that mine is.

Ha I know- I reckon it is a foot longer than the M3. The car park at the station is particularly small, to the point I cannot actually park the M6 in any of the spaces. Hence we now have to take the Mrs' A3 instead (I'm not leaving the M3 there to get bashed!).

Thanks - yes indeed. I'm the second owner and have had it for ten years. Spent £5k on it last year as a bit of a treat (new OEM shocks, bushes, wishbones, gearbox mounts, a diff rebuilt with 3.85 FD ratio in it, wheel refurb, new brake lines, underside clean up and paint, new caliper, remap, alignment and other bits).

Drives like new and I know it inside out. Hoping in time it will become one of those cars that are appreciated for being basically standard and looked after.

As is mine, resisting driving it too much is the hardest part!

Thanks Dan, I'd been looking for ages and had all but given up. I was very lucky to spot this on PH one quiet afternoon at work. It was a couple of hours away so I drove to see it that evening Couple of owners, the last for most of its life, 43k, always garaged and (genuinely!) rot free. I've sympathetically treated it to many litres of Bilth Hamber products so it should stay in fine fettle for many years to come. It now sports bilstein/eibach, full oem exhaust and heated sport leather with all the original stuff kept should anyone one want to put cloth comfort seats back in it!
I have my eye on an E34 M5 I've lusted after for some time so we will see how long I can hold out!
