The E34 is the daddy of all M5s IMO. I just love them. I WILL own an E34 one day!!!!
Mine might go for sale very soon.
Richard that is lovely, great taste.

I absolutely have to own one too one day, I've been talking about it for FAR too long!
Don't worry about that Mark. It's what PH is made for.

It might well be the Daddy of all M5's but it's possibly not even the Daddy of all E34's... wink

Those are the nicest wheels I've seen on an E64 in a long time - what are they please?

A few more pics of my old banger.

The old 5 was on wedding duties for my sister's wedding. 3 days of cleaning and detailing for the big day!

Thanks skypeller, it's definitely a labour of love keeping it on the road as a daily driver, but soon to be retired and become a fair weather car.

Once it's off the road I'm doing a complete mechanical overhaul, manual conversion and maybe a 2.7 stroker from the 2.0 m20.

Bodywork will be left standard (love the unfussy styling)

I may have posted this before as it's one of the few I have of it that don't come out upside down!

And this one is sulking as it undergoes a glacial pace recommissioning after a couple of years rest. All things being well it's off to Spa for the Classic six hours in May.

Gone from a M240i to a 330d shadow xdrive, two months of ownership and my god the 3 series is a dull car, heavy as hell, nothing inside to inspire you and as dull as ditch water to drive. I'm seriously thinking about chopping it in for a 225d.

Gorgeous. I always admired the E30 Tourings but always needed a little more space.

Cheers.

It’s a great car, I’m really pleased with Azurite Black, pops nicely in sunshine.
