Hi Fellow Piston-headers
Here is my loyal 2000 E36 1.9 M sport Compact in Avus Blue with genuine BMW M Styling (M3 Elec mirrors, Boot Spoiler, Side Skirts, Front Valance/Splitter etc and the upgraded BBS style BMW optional rims)...which will mark my 15th year of ownership this April.. and sadly now it is listed here on the PH classifieds yesterday for sale, if any fellow E36 Compact fans on here knows anyone who may be interested? Full details listed in the Ad here, (which I hope is within the acceptable terms of this post):
Many thanks...Kammy

Have I lowered it 40mm...or did it just have 200kg of stones in the boot tonight...place your votes!
Interesting factMy e61 and I believe all 5 series estates since have self levelling rear suspension as standard. Which means an air ride type setup like the kids fit to slam their cars.
Even the long wheel base 7 series e66 has it too, as standard.
I didn't even know when I bought mine but it's standard BMW stuff on quite a few of their cars.

AndWhat do you love about it?
The ride is superb and it’s pretty quick for a big car. Then it has heated massage seats front and rear, TVs all round, twin panoramic roof, rear blinds. Spec goes on and on.
It’s so quiet on the motorway compared with my X5.
Ideal for long journeys
Perfect for me

Hadn't used mine for a while so used it today, fabulous cars, imperious to drive as you say whisper quiet and the interior is lovely. The ride is superb and it’s pretty quick for a big car. Nice car but kidney grille stripes are an absolute no in my books. 90% of the time you see them on any BMW they are either parked or being driven like absolute tools and kind of highlights the sort of person that typically installs them along with M badges on the boot lid.
For me the moment I see them on the grilles I immediately won't even care to take a second look at the car. The same goes for illegally spaced numberplate characters (no offence).
