t loads of other people hanging off their every word whilst they dish out advice, mainly because they’re attractive. Because I guarantee I wouldn’t have anyone in the least bit interested in my experience of one or two piece leathers and only a fraction of the people would be bothered if I bought it from over cooking it in an 80mph bend. Worse is that it’s a vicious circle. People like this get the following, realise they need clicks and start riding for clicks and cameras, instead of for themselves. I hope at the very least it wasn’t a situation where her thoughts that day were for getting views over getting home safely. I don’t want to speak badly of this girl but I’ve seen this effect first hand. As far as I can tell, it’s the desperately needy and insecure, looking for some kind of fame via mass approval from strangers.

The guy at 3:30 was trying way too hard and his run onto the other side of the road on the exit of the left wasn’t ideal either. If people have caught me, then they’re faster. Much better to let them go past and clear off. You see this a lot at trackdays too

Exactly the same when in the car, some people seem to take offence when you overtake them.Croft on Thursday at the end of a long hot day, following one of my mates on his GSX-R 750.
My foot kept slipping off the peg onto the link pipe which resulted in the link pipe being pulled out of the headers. Gave me quite a start at first.

A lap of mine from Silverstone GP yesterday. 2.32 which I'm quite happy with being an average rider on a 15 year old road going 600, I definitely think I can find a few seconds somewhere though.

Just can't watch stuff like that. Within a few seconds seeing no gloves and then the pace through the cars... It just ain't my thingI rode home from Cambridge to Essex yesterday filtering quick and when nearly home it just made me realise I can't commute on a bike - I'd end up being a statistic
