£15K for an Enfield, I'd be crying...

That Steve sounds like a con man.
There doesn't seem to be any customisation that he couldn't have done or arranged himself. confused
That's what confuses me. I'm not mechanically minded at all, TMF is way ahead of me on that front. But I could have done the exhaust and any other bought bits, and removed anything for powder coating and sent it off. The only thing I would have paid for would be cutting and welding the subframe and the paint job. As someone else said, £2-£4K max all done.

He seems to have gone into this very naively, which has cost him dearly.

Also going into administration is the cowards way out, someone should keep an eye on that Steve Donovan guy to see what he starts up next.

Most of the videos seemed to end with one of the ‘test’ bikes being ‘parked’ ??

Nice little trip down memory lane there.
yes

I remember a FB vid, where Shakey hoisted a minger on a Suzuki 600 that lasted 45 seconds and got to 145mph.

"So, I snicked 5th" hehe

I like the one with young Suzy Perry in it.
Which one was that? I remember the one with the black Ferrari 355 with fit passengers but don’t remember her.
All I can remember is she interviewed Shakey and some of the other guys. Looking absolutely smoking.

In fairness I doubt he did it because of this - the pandemic took a lot of companies out. The fact he went on camera I suspect he started with good intentions but one look at where the bike was and what he was saying, I wouldn't have left my bike with him, clearly not a hands on body man and nor is the other guy.

Many years ago I had a custom alloy tank made I called around loads of places and they were wanting £2k + and I could tell they weren't the ones doing the work. I finally found an older guy who had a big shed at his house - he knocked it up out of sheet alloy by hand, beautiful job £400

It would be easy to say hindsight but I thought exactly the same thing. All kinds of alarm bells should have rung at the time.

Short video of a BMW K1600 running out of grip! Quite a surprise for the rider I expect as he didn't seem to have much lean angle. Diesel perhaps?

Wouldn't fancy having to pick it up. These things are passive behemoths, my ex boss had one and I remember being quite daunted trying to move it around a gravel car park once, despite the fact I owned a pretty big sports tourer myself at the time. The K16 seemed twice the size/weight!

I'm going with puncture. It didn't look right from the start of the video.

Yeah maybe, although I think they have tyre pressure alerts on the dash so it shouldn't catch anyone out.
