Thread revival!
£52,000 NR750 sounds a bit more realistic than some of the prices that have been kicked about for them recently!

I understand what makes these bikes so special, but are they supposed to be any good to ride?£52,000 NR750 sounds a bit more realistic than some of the prices that have been kicked about for them recently!

True but at £10,000 miles and 4 owners,I guess its too "leggy" to command the real stupid money...£52,000 NR750 sounds a bit more realistic than some of the prices that have been kicked about for them recently!

No idea. I'd imagine they make a pretty special noise. And they're a masterpiece. I doubt it'd be as 'good' as your R1 (or any current-ish 1000), but that's not always the point. A Monet isn't as good a wall covering as a can of Dulux, I know which I'd rather have cover a patch of my living room Yazza54 said:

Yep, sad to read isn't it - I'm sure he'd approve of us nattering bikes though Yazza54 said:

Went past the accident spot the other day, and it reminded me of the bloke posting on here and the Alfa forum. Hell I didn't even know the guy but it is saddening when you read his words, wishing for some nice toys for the future. One of the last things i remember him posting about was wanting to get out on the road more and get some more experience.srob said:
