oooh yes I got my photo taken with him at the NEC last year.
What about that fat bearded paramedic biker on "Emergency Bikers"?was watching that last night.
He looks like Julian Ryder doesn't he!
Who's this Adam you speak of?
Anyways.
That McGuiness bloke, top bloke.

I hate to say this, but McGuinness just seems to be a bit of a boring chap. I mean there is certainly no doubting his skill on the bike, but still... maybe I'm just too much of a Guy Martin fanboy haa...
Boring? Really? You clearly know jack st about racing. Mcpint is one of the funniest guys I know, and his antics whilst on the beer are legendary! norfolkscooby said:

Whenever you see mcguiness he is always happy to chat to everyone and have his picture taken and seems like a real good guy. I was a big guy martin fan but he's so unapproachable compared to john.
The tide does seem to be turning against Guy tbh, you see it on the Rock.Chatting with other fans in the pubs they say much the same about, he wants nothing to do with the fans and has no time for that side of things at all.

Well thats a bit of a tttish thing to say isn't it? He doesn't mean in person you dope, he means on camera! Personally I find all the TT riders interesting, yes, even Hutchy
Im sure that once he has a drink or two in him, even Stoner, Pedrosa and Lorenzo are interesting but thats not the point is it?

I don't appreciate this autograph- and photo-hunting. Waiting around expecting Guy to arrive, and then moaning about the inevitable no-show, is pointless ('bleurrgghhh, i love Guy, why won't he just sign my tits/face/random-item??? sob, sob'). It's a fickle 'fan' of the racing that seeks to doing something that they know interferes with it, just because they see an opportunity to do so.
I like both the contest and the personalities. If we had to listen to the same, often cloned and regurgitated, tv-talk that you get from some riders, it would be rather boring. Guy is odd, but clearly a very fast rider. If he could maintain the same focus as the others, he'd have had more success.
M Dunlop has impressed me this year. His rides in both Supersport races and the Superstock were brilliant. Such a gritty, full-on racer, and openly passionate and sincere with it.
However, and it's just a personal feeling, it seems GM started developing a self obsessed image. I took a very slight dislike to him after wathching TT3D but dismissed it as a TV documentary that's been cut and re arranged for added drama but his latest columns in PB seem to confirm the trend.
Perhaps all the media attention, TV documentaries et al have gone to his head a bit but it'd be a shame if he started closing on himself whereas he could become the Valentino Rossi of road racing (in th UK anyway since no foreigner can clearly understand what he's talking about ).
On the other hand I find that someone like Micheal Dunlop has mellowed a tad whilst retaining his aggressive edge. I rate him quite a lot in fact.
Regardless, they are all spectacular riders!
Just my 2p.
