Are we bored enough to work it out children?

According to this website http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/Syncro_website/Te... The difference is 3.1%.
Skills...

3.1 kmh ... so 2mph at 60mph according to that ...

It isn't going to be noticable is it? - as in not worth the hassle of changing the gearing...

Yes, its not going to make a huge impact on acceleration but 3.1% might be the difference of getting done by a speed camera or not.

go for it, just go through cameras a couple of mph slower to make sure.

Oh, and BTW, some insurance companies class this as a modification! wink

The speedo under reads anyway... smile- will check with GPS on way home.

Changing tyre brand could be classed as a modification too ... but where do you draw the line eh?

Ok ... given what has been mentioned in this thread...

Why am I then losing 3-4 mpg since fitting the 190/55 ... ?

(This is over 1000 miles since fitment)

All that extra side grip means you are on the gas in the turns more.

I get a speed wobble around 90ish that wasn't there before.

Power through it and it stabilises.

Something to do with the height increase on the rear changing the geometry. I am going to go back to a 180/55 to be honest, i'm not a huge fan.
