I'm with you on this one.

I still remember the day I rocked up with over 100,000 other people for wsb. You won't be getting that at Donny or the other sthole
Maybe not for wsb but been to Donington with massive crowds and its great. Hope to see it back there soon.
The best year I've been to Donington was the first year of the 990's, and that still doesn't compare to Mugello, misano, Assen or even Magny Cours last weekend. Brands was superb, but it's gone and nothing has replaced it unfortunately . . .

Fleegle and I agree on Silverstone, it is soulless, there isn't even atmosphere at the F1 as I've had the misfortune to attend that a few times as well . . .

If you consider all of the riders who crashed at Chateaux D'eau, Melandri, Bas and Haslam on the same wet patch, which also nearly took down Laverty, then Sykes would have probably won it. As they essentially kept handing places to Biaggi and making his job slightly easier . . .

But if's and ands were pots and pans there'd be no need for tinkers . . .

PS - The marshalling for the Baz/Melandri crash was shocking, to the point the crowd were launching missiles at the nearest marshalls post . . .

I seem to recall Tom Sykes being the junior member or something like that for the kawasaki team - he really puts it all on the line and kawassaki owe him big time for bringing their brand into the frame.
Hope he gets prime treatment next year, this year was a bit of a melting point and he only really got full race pace late in the seaseon. The bike/tyre combination will now go the full distance it seems. Good luck next year Tom.
