Its a road bike mate, owned by Webber.

I wont spoil it, but watch it. Interesting viewing. Wet too. Makes you think!
2013 rallycross car = bloater. What was a Group B T16? 900kgs?

T16 and S4 890KG, or 960KG for the bigger engined Quattro, RS200 and 6R4, plus the turbo cars had no inlet restrictions

By comparison a 2.0 Rallycross cars weighs 1100KG and is fitted with a 45mm restrictor on the turbo to keep the power down.

I like Webber. I was at his first ever race in Australia when he put the Minardi in the points - the locals went bananas.

He also flew into Kings Lynn in his helicopter to watch the speedway last year.

Seems like a genuinely nice bloke who loves his bikes too smile

I was there too, they even gave him his own podium celebration after the top three had cleared out of the way and the crowd cheered more loudly for Webber than Schumacher who had actually won. Actually that last statement is probably understandable wink

Rather late update!

Found the times as posted on Best vs the Rest at the GTR forums. Here were the recorded times but for some reason Ian's record topping time is not listed irked We (Ian and I) were both in the control tower and were told by the timing recorder that his top speed was 207.6 which was exactly what the fastest GTR managed but strangely enough nothing is recorded.

Phil's standard Hyabusa was recorded at 177.1 which is odd as he ran a load of runs yet only one is recorded. My ZZR recorded two speeds of 186.2 and my personal best of 189.1. I know these weren't Ian's speeds because he was seriously over the double ton! My GPS said 182 but earlier in the day we were told I did a 192.. hardly possible with the 186 limiter in but we did have a tail wind. So more confusion.

Anyway, here is the list:

Some of those SVM GTR's are pretty impressive

I did a runway day with this one , it was really really wet stopping from 150mph was fun let alone 218

Skip to 1.02 for the fun bit

That is correct. I can only presume it wasn't included as it was a trailered race bike yet there were trailered race cars there too.

Either way, it was a bloody fun day out smile

There were two ZZR's, mine and Ian's turbo'd one. Mine is restricted, I bought the full power kit as instructed by Ian but unfortunately he told me to get the wrong one hehe There wasn't a lot more that I could get out of my bike given that it was only a mile and a short run off afterwards. The derestrictor allows the bike to go past 186 which it did (with the help of a tail wind) but I would not have got much more anyway.

If anyone wants a brand new ZZR1400 derestrictor that has been taken out of the packet once and not fitted I have one wink I'm going to buy a Muzzy's one from the US and then hopefully have another go somewhere else.

Ian's turbo ZZR should have been listed because he did us proud irked

Regardless of who was the fastest those bike times are very impressive considering the wet conditions!

I think you guys well and truly fought our corner. clap
