Your old bike must have hated you Graeme.
I think it's protesting about being replaced. It was super unreliable, and then as soon as I got a new bike back in June, it started working perfectly. That didn't work, so it's decided to fk me over again as before smile

Great day at Snett Monday despite the heavy rain until the last 2 sessions. I'm super confident with wets now. I swear it's like cheating. I had two slides that made me pukka up. One locking the front, put my foot out and caught that one and other being the usual back end slide

My brother took his new bike out, it was 1 week old and done 500 miles. Fair play to him

I didn't really get any pics, my brothers missis took one of us watching the inters

And a group called Essex superbike boys on instagram got one of me down the straight on last session when it was 90% dry

I'm looking forward to seeing that professional ones to see whether I was just hanging off line a tt to get my knee down or if I was actually leaning it a bit haha

Bike seemed OK although I'm still not completely happy. Starter motor was free spinning when I went to noise test, had to bump it. Did the first session and heard a knock sound and after that it started in the button every time... Weird

Also I'm completely paranoid that it's weeping a tiny bit of oil but its right by the front of the chain so it could be that flicking off...I dunno I'll wash it in the week and have a good look

Lastly the chain sprocket combo was hard anodized but 4 track days in and it's looking pretty chewed up

Let me guess, front end lock up was on start/finish straight going into Riches?

No actually it was Oggles - it had 3 people off that day. Just looked shiny and caught me out big time. I was told at lunch in the cafe it was due to classic car races the day before leaving rubber/oil on the ground

One of the guys crashed right in front of me so I should've seen the warnings really as he literally just dropped it in a straight line

Hamilton was the rear slide. Its the same corner Ive lost the front and my mate snapped his K8 750 in half last year

It's safe to say that's not what the water is supposed to look like
Hopefully it's just the head gasket and not the head itself
Ah damn graeme just see this - not good! Ive had this before on the Honda unicam mx engines. As you said head gasket but you could be lucky. Still have to wonder why it went though, can be a sign of something else on its way out

I too saw that.biggrin There was a lot of talent, I mean talented young ladies there today.hehe

Awesome day at donny, my new to me bike(p8f zx6r) performed faultlessly all day which was nice. I was starting to get back in the swing of things after lunch after not doing a trackday in over 5 years. Getting my knee down after 4 laps too, Not that it makes me any faster but certainly made me feel better!laugh

Quite a few crashes today though. Red flag went out as someone went down on the first corner then someone on a fireblade came off at craner curves right in front of me! Hopefully there were no injuries, the bike looked a mess.

A pretty much perfect day for it too, it was almost like summer! I might have a new favourite circuitnow, that place is awesome!

I'm no trying to be funny, but you took a picture of a lassies arse without her knowing then put it up on an internet forum, one in which a few women frequent....creepy bd.

I'm not saying I don't appreciate the view but ehm....

My crashed frame from a few weeks ago. Somebody bought it yesterday and I think I have a replacement frame / swingarm lined up for next week. So she'll live to ride another day... Happy days

Kinda looks like that doesn't it... I remember putting it on full lock but the bar doesn't reach far enough. I'm pretty sure the frame damage is just where the bike landed on the ground.

Why would someone want to buy a frame with a big ding in it?

It can easily reach there in a crash. Make sure you spend some time checking that the headstock, forks etc are all still straight.

Haha, much better than your approach with women at Trackdays. Sit in your chair eating Jaffa cakes and grunt at my missus when I introduced you. She walked away asking what was wrong with you biggrin

Clean log book... Repairable... I guess he feels it's worth his while repairing it.
