Did you check the fuses.
I caught up with Tim the other day and we had a laugh about our mechanical incompetence. We were both right once though, it was the fuses

It's a long way off, but finally booked going to Jerez in Nov with Track sense.
The more onboard footage I see of the place, the better it looks

Jerez is amazing. Used to be my favourite Spanish track, but Aragon has overtaken it now.

Anything has to be better than Oulton today. Bloody hell it was cold, really cold. I’ve never come in with tyres so cold after a session and zero feel from the front.

Was a really tough day though as the fast group was serious extremes s of rider ability, BSB / SS1000 riders (about 15 of them) and then another 15 who would struggle to justify a place in Inters.

One minute you’re getting passed like you’re standing still, the next you’re on top of someone who looks like they’re standing still.

I’ve learned one thing. No matter how much exercise you do over winter, you won’t maintain any semblance of bike fitness. I’m absolutely shagged.

Oh that and some people are fking stupid when it comes to trying to build heat into tyres. You can’t go at it full blast when you’ve been sat at the end of pit lane for 5 mins with no warmers on. Too many red flags across all groups but especially the penultimate session which we managed the sum total of 1.5 laps between 2 red flags.

I was working close by but ran out of time to come over, a mate of mine was there on a Matt black and orange zx6 in fast, hopefully returned in one piece too!

Bet it was good to be back out though.

No 171? Or something 1*1? He was one of the few around my pace, If so, I got him the few times I saw him on track. Proper fast day today, guessing Thundersport are racing there to kick the season off.

Nice riding as always Neil. A disappointing lack of close passes though smile
The more I see of that track, the more I'm looking forward to it
Aragon's another on my list of to do tracks. Portimao too. I've been there to watch, but not ride
I see NL have a three day open Pitlane trip there this summer

I saw on Mason Law's facebook page that he was there today too.
March is a hit and miss month for weather. You could get 14deg and sunny, or 2 deg and blowing a rainy gail.. Roll on summer

Normally runs number 22.
Ran 1.45s in his races there last season so pretty handy.

Not him then, was just trying to remember anyone who fitted the description. He’s a fair bit quicker than me to say the least.

I was never fussed about going to Jerez but after riding it last year I can confirm it's a damn good track.

Anyone want to buy a fast group slot for Donington on Monday 26th March ?
I had booked it, but the mrs has booked for us to go away now, and MSV won't refund or move it to another day.
I paid £120 for it, so would take offers around £90

What is the current thinking on the best place to sell a trackbike? I'd obviously prefer to not have lots of dreamers coming around the house, etc.

All ideas welcome. Thks

Failing that, it looks great, so sell sell it really cheap (to me) and I'll just sent a bloke round with a van ;-)

It’s an MSV day, so kinda halfway between a quiet and noisy typical day
It’s 98db drive by, so about the same as Oulton
