Cheers for that mate. Seems like I should stand a good chance at say a 102dba day. Although if probably be tempted to chuck the standard exhaust in the van

Just done Silverstone GP for the first time ever and on my roadbike. What a weird track, it took me all day to get any sort of decent line through the wiggly bits onto Hanger Straight. The fact there are two pits which look identical and both have a right at the end, but completely different entries and exits is weird too. Then the stupid right and ridiculously tight left onto the other straight.

I did notice that on that straight I couldn’t stop the bike for the left, whereas on the other I was braking too much, too early and turning in too. early too.

It’s bloody fast, but not my sort of track, I might go back just to see what I can do on my trackbike.

At my age I’m lucky if I can remember my name. Give me a clue smile

Just about word for word except where I ran over the curbs because I forgot where I was going due to the 2 pit straights looking the same.

Hahahaha. I did the same on the kerbs on the International Pit straight. The old pits have a mega fast entry where you nail it and the track just fits perfectly with the bike. The other one is tight as and you have to wait for an eternity to open the throttle.

Bit spooky.

Just seen the price of a TD on the GP circuit £209. Sod that. There’s far better circuits for miles less than that

That looks awesome. Who did you book it with if you don’t mind me asking? Also did you have to drive over yourself or is there transport?

Hope it’s not too hot! I did Mugello a couple of years back during August, was unbearably hot!

It’s sea mist and it can go as quickly as it comes. One good thing is that at midday the tide will go out and take all the weather with it.

I know you live miles from the sea but that's not how the tides work tongue out

It might not be that, but there was some local farmer who wandered down whilst we were there and explained what usually happens there and said it was the tide. He was right about it all clearing up at midday. Happy for it to be an old wives tale if it works though smile
