Croft on 15th April should be good to go, best get bike ready. Anyone else there?
I'm there 15th and 16th, booked them just over 2 weeks ago
I’ll see you there. I’ll be the slow one in the Inters seeing as my bike has been gathering dust for the last 18 months.

I took a punt a while back and booked Oulton on the 31st of March, Donington on the 29th of April, Cadwell on the 10th of May, Donington on the 11th of May and 4 days in Almeria at the end of May.

Might be a bit optimistic that they will come off but its nice to have something booked!

I'm tempted to book Mugello with nolimits in September buts not cheap!
I'll be Oulton on the 31st too.
After I had Jerez and Cartagena cancelled for two of us, I had a shedload of credit to use with NL, so I booked about 10 early season days with NL
I figured if they got cancelled, it'd just go into the credit pot. If the weather was crap and I didn't fancy it, I could easily sell them on and turn credit into cash, or if the weather was decent, It'd be a mint day on the bike
The only reservation I have about doing Oulton on the 31st as that'll be pretty much the first day Oulton will have been used for circa 6months, so could be slippery as hell even if it's dry and sunny
I thought it'd be a good one to get back up to speed though, as racing at Donington on the 17/18th

I work at Silverstone instructing, so come say hi on the day and I'll show you around for a few laps
It's a pretty tough circuit to learn as it's so long, but it's a mint track when you get it right and it's fast and ballsy

Will do, thanks.

I’ll be on either an MT10 or ZX10R in a tatty Dainese two-piece.

Any idea what the pit / garage situation will be?

I have some metzeller td slicks that aren't supposed to need warmers but I'm not sure the designers had Oulton in March in mind when that was said..

Don't have a generator so I'm reliant on a plug for warmers!

They'll be carnage, so it'd be much safer to assume you won't get one
With there being a no overnight stay covid rule in place until April 12th and only 3 bikes per garage allowed, it'll mean no one's staying there overnight, so it'll be a bunfight at the gate from about 4;30am
You will get a fair few fill up the day before too, as Oulton attracts a lot of 'locals' who only seem to ride there, so they'll dump their stuff in the garages the day before and swan in around 8 the next day.
I'll be taking awning and genny
I'm afraid I can't even offer you a lead off my Genny as there's two of us and my generator really doesn't even do two very well

Thanks, I was afraid that might be the case.

I might post a message on the nolimits facebook page asking if anyone has spare capacity on a generator for petrol money..

If that doesnt work I can take it easy for the first few laps in each session to try to get some heat in the metzelers.

Worst case I have a set of Supercorsa SPs that I can swap on for that day, bit of a waste of money though!

You can always get an extra long extension lead (or two 10m ones) and set up a small tent in the first row outside the garages. Just bring some tape to tape the lead down over the fire lane

Got my first track day at snett on 4th... Feels a long time since I've been on track now. Followed by first Mx day on the freshly made '81 twin shock Mx bike

Had MCT work his magic and fix a leaky oil seal. Done a winter service and refresh just need to do tyres mid week before I have a wobble round

Got tagged in a video of someone at doni last year on their Panigale and there's a clip of me on my Tuono which I thought was pretty cool https://youtu.be/2PukO7d7pEM

I remember the rider on track too as it was an Aprilia day and only a couple of other brands that I recall. When I passed him I didn't have enough owmph in my bike to get past the rider after for a bit so it made for some good videoing

Bound to happen.

As indeed I'm afraid to say will be the 'organ donation programme', when Darwin award competitors get let loose on the public highway over a sunny evening or weekend.

I was supposed to be at Oulton tomorrow but had to sell the day due to work commitments.

Have to wait until Snetterton on the 11th now.

First time there, any thoughts / tips on the place?

My first time I found it a very hard track to learn, and after 3 trackdays still feel like I can't get a proper flow for it. That's probably more a reflection on my riding though hehe

Finally got my first trackday booked, and have got my second one booked too - in for a penny! Snetterton in May and Donington in June, both with smallboy. Looking forward to scratching the itch.

Two really fun fast tracks. You're renting a bike from Smallboys then?

Yeah, I've wanted to do Donington in particular for years.

I'm slightly limited by what weekend dates are available, and don't fancy the likes of Lydden Hill for my first time out.

Booked with NoLimits, but renting from Smallboys both days as I am in the process of selling/replacing my ZX6R and want to make sure I am not bikeless if I haven't found a replacement by then - don't fancy a trackday on my V-Strom and it makes sense with a bit of man maths to rent...! And I get to feel what a properly sorted bike feels like.

Doing the 650 Ninja at Snet and then the ZX6R at Donny. I know Snet is a bit of a power circuit but thought it would be fun to warm up on the twin first, and I will hardly be pushing either of them anyway!

Plenty of time to watch some onboard Youtube videos so you know which way the tracks go before then.

I quite fancy renting and letting someone else sweat their tabs off, whilst I re-hydrate and take the rays, I like your plan.
