For less than the price of some aftermarket exhaust cans, my 1995 CBR600 F3 is all finished, just need to stick an MOT on it.
My first ever real road experience was on the back of one of these - same year and colour. Think I was 14-15 at the time and I remember thinking 'wow this is sooooo fast'. Had a mate bought one for track too. They are near on bullet proofChipchap said:
Sure you know your own bike obviously, clearly not just myself thought so from the photos previously thats all.Its much clearer in the pic above!
I mean Suzuki nitride coated the first GSXR1000 forks lowers and that would wear off for example but one would expect that right?
I've owned an Italian bike and used it daily year round for 3.5 years.. nothing needs sugar coating in terms of 'character' LOL Not something I'll be repeating - any bought will be kept hermitically sealed until days like today and then take out for less time than the OCD cleaning and polishing takes!
You clearly take that level of pride over yours.. I wish I had the time and space to keep one like that for best.

500 meet in Stratford Upon Avon today, alas my 500 is off the road but I went on the 350 and had a ball on that anyway, roads perfect out that way for the smaller bikes, hopefully a few more will make it next time but a great bunch of lads, the Marlboro bike has had the same owner since new.
Looked and sounded fantastic...I will seriously have to consider a set of pipes for mine now..

That red/white speedblock paint scheme was what we had in South Africa. We had the alloy frame RZ500LC not RZV500 though. All the liquid cooled 2 strokes of that Era were labeled up as RZ. Looked and sounded fantastic...I will seriously have to consider a set of pipes for mine now..
I had one as a shop demo but of course it was "mine" as they were all sold anyway so no need for a demo.

There will be a few of us at St Mary's Loch tomorrow around 1 or 2 pm if any of the sweaty sock boys are around
Would have been good to meet up with some of the others on here, but my [grown up] kids are taking me out today and plying me with food and alcohol. Maybe next time. Was out last night from 11pm until 2am and even at midnight it was low 20s Celsius
Slight brush with the law but otherwise all good
Went out again at 7am this morning and just got back. Nice 160 mile ride but blimey by 11am it was too hot, even when moving with all the zip vents open
Lots of ice cream and cold drinks this morning in Royston and Chelmsford. My mate took the picture & did some weird stuff with it
And a meme thingy I sent my wife when I was at the cafe
Of all the times I ride with my visor down, I had it up here but the tinted one dropped and this little bugger hit me hard... Would hate to think how that would've felt if it were my eyes

They are amazing when weather is like this! I took my M7RR off, have a brand new still in wrapping rear and front thats done barely 2000 miles but they will remain in the garage attic until weather drops. All about sticker tyres right nowpodman said:
Not just cleaned but rebuilt and bench flow tested....twice...everything else is all set up as the book (YPVS, oil pump, throttle adj etc, new air filter, a new fuel tap, new fuel lines, tank is rust free), sometimes it will go as it should, and others (most of the time now) its "normal" to a certain point, always starts first /second kick, motor sounds great... but then goes flat as it should make power, its either fuel starvation or something electrical , almost feels like the power valves are not opening....I cant make my mind up which it may be now, possibly it has both issues...!
I can bimble around on it with no bother but after Sundays run out, it got really frustrating, its now off to be investigated by Krazy Kat dyno & then , hopefully, he will set it up straight after, hence removing the bodywork.
Im pretty sure its something simple but its beyond what I can diagnose/rectify now.
Gutted as on Saturday I was hoping to take it to the RD500 meet in Stratford upon Avon but I dont want to risk causing it some serious damage..
