Taking the time to understand your native language, and use the correct spelling of a word you intend to use within a sentence is hardly arrogance. It is something I expect a 10 year old to take pride in achieving. Rather than accusing people using words correctly as being arrogant, should you not be accusing those using them incorrectly as being ignorant?
I agree with Pothole actually, I find it quite disappointing that someone would rather shrug their shoulders and carry on misspelling a word than take the time to learn it correctly. There is almost a badge of honour associated with being a bit thick, and anyone trying to politely point out the error of someone's ways is immediately counteracted with an insult. I suppose that says more about you than it does me.
Anyway, what difference does it make to me, I'm typing a message to someone on the internet who I've never met and probably never will meet. Crack on, you're making the rest of us look more intelligent.
Actually he doesn't make the "rest of us look more intelligent" - you just look like a fvcking pedant, correcting someone's spelling on the INTERNET! No mate, you're patronising someone else to make them look stupid and make you look funny or clever by comparison.
What do you do if someone messes up? You tell them in private so they don't feel embarrassed. What do you do if someone doesn't spell something right? You ignore it, or you at least make a joke of it so they don't feel embarrassed.
I'm being a hypocrite. By my own logic I should be dropping you a PM. But I'm not. Call me what you like.
Edit to add: now let's stop arguing and lets talk about delightfully cheap Christmas biking goodies and the fact the roads will be empty on the 25th..

Finally cold enough to test out the Gerbing XR12 heated gloves I bought last week, dropped to 2 degrees on the way home tonight and was 4-5 degrees this morning. My fingers would have been frozen by the end of my 45 minute comute normally, 50% power gave a nice 'body temperature' warmth, you couldn't feel heat but they were certainly doing their job! 75% was getting quite toasty this morning, and plenty warm tonight, could only have my visor up for a few seconds at a time it was that cold.
Heated grips and muff no more These are the way forward, no need for a heated fleece but if I was doing 45-60 minutes of motorway i'd think about it.

So finally looking at a new tyre - what is the Pierelli Diablo Strada like?
https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycle/road-tyr...
Also ordered the UV oil dye so I can finally see where the oil leak is coming form - fix that and tighten the chain (some serious slack but can't find my spanner the other week) and the bike will be far better!
No idea about them tyres, personally I'm going for the Michelin Sports which are great. I now need a rear tyre as mine is squaring off and I can really feel it too.https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycle/road-tyr...

Let me know how that UV oil dye tracing goes. Might have to get it if the oil seal stuff doesn't work.

Brrrrrr.......that is all
Supposed to be even colder tonight
I don’t even realise it was cold. Got my winter wear setup correct obviously. Supposed to be even colder tonight
Not had a chance to fit my heated grips yet either! (biggest issue for me is the metal holding my finger together) - got off the bike over the past few days feeling like I'd had a snowball fight!
Chilly this morning, but dry, so Gary Gritter's worst has been seemingly blown away! My 15 minute commute is just about manageable down to -5C, without the need for heated gloves. Having a hot shower before leaving the house really helps too. Only really cold bit seems to be above my eyebrows - maybe I need a better lid??
Oh & about the spelling thing that seems to have people here in a tiz: how hard can it be to proof read a post & use a spell checker before hitting the 'submit' button?

Now that the weather is really starting to change I've had enough, my car test can't come soon enough. 100 miles a day up and down the motorway is fine in the summer, fine in the driving rain but I've just got no interest in touching the bike once it becomes a winter wonderland.

They've been 100% waterproof in the rain the other day too, and you couldn't tell they've got heating elements in them, apart from the lead protruding from the cuff!!
I do notice if I rest my left hand behind my screen out the airflow, I can feel the warmth more so they're obviously battling the wind chill (70mph at 2 degrees, what's that? COLD!!!!) so these with hand guards would be brilliant.
@tom_e - on this occasion I'm happy to give up the large, loose, furry (and black!) muffs to stick my hands in something warmer, tighter, and they look better too

Goretex. Accept no less.my aldi ones dont do it anymore
My A* SMX6 GTX boots are 3.5 years and 40k+ miles old and have never let in a single drop of water, with the added benefit of being comfortable in both 35 degree heat in Italy earlier this year, and 2 degrees this week with just a thickish sock on.

THESE GERBING GLOVES ARE fkING BRILLIANT! I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T BUY SOME SOONER! Rode in today and my hands thought it was mid-July, I normally really suffer on my fingertips in the cold but today it was beautiful. I'm riding a naked (Street Triple) no guards, nothing and they lapped it up. Cruising at 70 was nothing at all. Only at 50% on the way in, might up it tonight to try the extra toasty feeling. It makes such a difference being able to feel the controls!
I loved mine! Although the first time i wore them i put them on full and had to stop within 5 mins to fiddle with the controller to turn them down This morning was unbearable - even more so than earlier this week
Going to get the heated grips fitted this weekend without fail! - the sensation of getting to work feeling like you've had a 30 minute snowball fight (on your legs and neck too!) is far from ideal - still sat here now, in a woman controlled office with a thick jumper on (and I'm normally sweating!)
