cool I will keep an eye out for you. Speed Triple, I see why you don't like the stretch of 40/50 avg speed.
Hmmm I saw a black NC30 on millbank near the speed cameras heading towards lambeth bridge roundabout yesterday morning - I wondered if it was yours.. it had white stickers saying V4 on it. I did wave but wasn't sure - I turned over lambeth bridge as I work on the Southbank.

I took the train into London today wink FWB mode on lol Actually I need new gortex gear - all my current jackets main zips have broken so they won't work today esp at motorway speeds. I've been using my 'classic' late 90s shoei leather jacket of late which is shower proof but not proper rain proof its literally 20 years old and still going strong probably because its not been actively used in anger during that time.

I rode one of those once, I have no doubt he needed to do that to keep up with the traffic!

That was me, I saw you too.

And saw you yesterday too I think. I pulled up next to you at the Hospital Bridge Road roundabout. I was going to say hi, but the light changed and then you peeled off down the road towards mcdonalds. smile

Great my powers of observation hadn't actually let me down!
I'll do a better job of stopping to say hi if I see you next time smile Sorry - I was just in full commuting 'London' mode. I think we've established we'll likely cross at similar sort of times. I try to do 7:30am from home and I'll arrive at my office about 8:30am.
If you do see me shout hey Simon! Whats your first name? Better to be more personable when saying hi

Highlight for me was finding out that my new gortex suit really does work, I spent 90 minutes in the rain yesterday and not a drop made in through although the feeling of coldness still leeches in

I was actually happy when the heavens opened so I could test my new gear. Just had shorts and t shirt on with the lining removed on them. I was glad to see I stayed bone dry but I did have a cold crotch which worried me that it was something leaking!

Seeing two coppers on bikes pulling over cyclists who had jumped a red light on Albert Embankment coming up to Lambeth Bridge. It certainly was pleasing to see.

I saw that too. Forget where but you were parked up standing beside it.

was that my NC30 or the speed tripe?

if it was the NC30, it could have been on the embankment when I pulled over for a smoke on the way home.

chaps, free love! no room needed
