fking hell. Yeah it's London by the way so there is approx 3.14 tealeaves per square inch

I've had this since the 11th May so a grand total of ten days. One reason I've had to buy a fking scooter is cos I've split up with my wife so am now living in a flat. Yeah life doesn't get much fkING better, hey.

I therefore needed something relatively maintainence free, and not that nickable ie no Zx10r. Plus need to occasionally take my quite young daughter on it so had to be scooter not a bike as she isn't keen. So I settled on Tmax as best option given my circumstances.

As mentioned in my other animal pissing on my bike thread, I lock it in an alley overnight so I can lock it to some heavy railings with an almax:

But during the day when I'm out and about I just leave it in the road with a disklock. It's an extremely busy road. To be honest it's not really practical to lock it with almax to railings when I'm in and out its too awkward. I got back earlier, was in for about an hour, then went to go back out. Some fking has tried to nick it. The mudguard is smashed. And when I tried to ride it I find they've actually bent the disk so it's not rideable. It's bent so severely I can't use the front brake even if I pump the lever to push the pistons back out. Only saving grace is at least they didn't drop it on its side.

fking fking s

I'm going to buy one of those trackers too.

I stopped drinking more than a year ago but this gave me a sudden craving for a big glass of wine.

They may not have noticed the disc lock with it being chromed.
I'd paint it bright orange.
Isn't there anywhere you could fit a ground anchor?

Dude, that sucks. Split up with your wife, move into a dumpy flat, buy a scooter instead of a ZX10R, things piss on it then someone tries to steal it, rendering it useless even by scooter standards.

May some really hot, 25yo horny nymphomaniac with a luxury penthouse Thamesview apartment and a flash £100k motor shower her ample affections on you soon.

It was the dog getting revenge because of the bleach and chilli powder where it pisses. I wouldn't retaliate again, he is better at it than you.

Buy a cheapo van, like a berlingo size for 800 quid and keep it in that?

I lived in London for years and had a couple of my bikes nicked and a few damaged like yours when they couldnt get all my locks off.
I know its a pain in the arse but really with the toerags the way they are today and the blatant disregrd they have for the public watching or the law coming I owuld lock the thing to the fence everytime.
Hnestly it might ba pain but its the peace of mind knowing its still going to be there.
I would say it also depends on wehre you live in London but I had my old CBR nicked when I popped into a KFC. Disc lock was on so I have no idea how they lifted it but it was devestating.
Good luck fella

Whatever it is someone has tried to nick it and damaged it. I guess the time to really worry is if he dropped down to something around 300cc to get about on...

You've pretty well explained exactly how they got it. Lifted into a van and away they go.

And while we're at it - let's stone some gays!

OP - bad luck man, London seems like a bloody nightmare for this stuff. I'll echo what someone else said about making it hi-viz, those springy cables are only a few quid on ebay and at least if it's targeted again, the scum will notice that and perhaps not bother.

I agree. Sharia Law should be implemented across the whole of the U.K.

No way. Sharia Law prohibits alcohol. I'd end up sober and ebay would suffer as a result

Annoying! I would guess they have tried to leaver the lock off which caused the bend and the break.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do, other than move out of London. Hopefully it won't cost too much to get the disk fixed.

£110 for the disc and about £90 for new mudguard. So stil a waste of 200 quid from my point of view. Both backorder as well, so pure luck I haven't sold my old scooter so can still use it to get to work otherwise I'd be fked.

I've ordered a disc lock reminder so the turnips notice it and don't ruin it again (thanks for offer anyway iang84)
