On a seperate note, a few of you seem to know each other - how will the noobs to this group (me) know whos who?
Do you all have masssive fuc*ing stickers on your leathers "Hello, my name is John" ala fight club?
Stop, lid off and ask Do you all have masssive fuc*ing stickers on your leathers "Hello, my name is John" ala fight club?
Loon is easy to spot - he's the one arguing with the ice cream van operator over indemnity insurance.
Probably

So where is this fabled ride? Is anyone welcome?
Most meet up at Kirkby Lonsdale (Devil's Bridge) as the central meet point... some travel up from Bolton, Some travel down from Perthshire / Cumbria and some travel across from the North East... others like that tosser Jazoli turns up five minutes after we arrive as he lives round the corner! Sometimes we stay local to Kirkby and ride the roads round there... sometimes we go up to Hartside Top.
Anyone is welcome as long as they ride within their own comfort zone. Ego's and Hero's are left at home.
Subscribe to the thread to keep tabs on what is going on ... some rides are planned, some are last minute!

Was anyone out and about yesterday?
Me and a mate went out via Burnley, Clitheroe, Trough of Bowland, Dunsop Bridge, Caton - Devil's Bridge, then back via Ingleton, Settle, Rathmell, Gisburn etc.
Good ride and first of the year but what really stood out was the state of the roads, especially the smaller ones. Absolutely fked, broken up, great scabs coming off the surface. Never seen them so bad. Not fun on an R1.

I feel like that most years Tom but a good run on a warm day with little traffic usually is enough to get my interest again, I need a destination these days, lost interest in just riding the same old roads week in week out.
I'm hoping it does with a few more rides, I've always been looking forward to the start of the season but this year I haven't at all. I loved the track day but on the road I'm just not feeling it.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
