We should cut to the chase: get a ZZR 1400. It's the ideal first bike hehe You'll get bored of anything less than 200bhp on tap.

My car gives me my speed thrills (C63), but I'm sure this will feel pretty brisk!
Your monster is faster. :-)

It will also feel 10x faster.
I bet its not, but the bike will be more fun, congrats on passing smile

My first bike was a monster.. M600 (back in 2008) which is going to nothing like the 821. Good choice of bike, which I am sure you'll love.

Training starts now.. smile

Nah, it will be. Certainly in a quick traffic light drag. Not once speed rises. :-)

Why not?
I was at bike exhibition/test day last week and there was a 20-something lady test-riding ZZR1400. This is a chick bike, really.
