Not used Hideout myself, but know a few that have and always heard good things about them. There's also Hill4leathers in Aldershot that also comes highly recommended.
Why not give Hideout a ring, see what they quote for the alteration?

Another vote for Hill4leather. There's always a row of scuffed leathers hanging up waiting for repairs and alterations - and a few of the local dealers use them too.

Not used either myself but Hill4Leather are the official repairers of Dainese in this country so are more likely to have experience of the trousers you have and do a better a job.

Add Byson Leather near Royston in Herts to the list of recommendations. Gwen is ex-Hideout herself.

Had mine altered by Hideout earlier this year; brilliant job, can't recommend them highly enough.

Kate's been there a long time. She made my leathers, and has altered then repaired them since.

3 crashes in them and they're still going strong. I highly recommend Hideout. They do a lot of work police forces now too as they offer made to measure textiles as well I think.

Did they lengthen or shorten your sleeves? Might take my new furygan trousers to them, I'm lacking in the calf department and mine could do with taking in around the knee/calf area and a bit of length added.

Ah, the famous Dainese Smart diet. You buy a snug-fitting airbag jacket, and immediately stop eating junk food because you can't afford another jacket.

Chicken dinner, you certainly chose the right name biggrin

Sticking with the topic, I think Hideout is the crème de la crème thumbup
