Angel Nieto in quad bike crash

Bad news from Ibiza, Angel Nieto has been hit by a car while riding his quad in Ibiza.

Reports from Spain were initially really bad, but just now I have seen several mention "serious but not critical"... So it seems he is in with a chance of pulling through.

I see him all the time in the MOTOGP coverage here, he comes across as a really nice man, thoughts are with him and his family.

Ended up staying in the same Gite as him one year for the Le Mans MotoGP. Had a good few drinks and games of pool with him - top bloke and proper lad. I hope he is ok.
