I can't remember the exact time they said as I was a little excited I'd got one and the information didn't sink in.
Just as a little side note who's had the longest journey to pick one of these bikes up.
Mines not to bad at 2.5 hours on the train from Nottingham.
At least I get to do a fair few of the running in mileage on the way home.

Re,running in.
What's the opinion on it?
As you might gather from this and previous posts I've never had a new vehicle before so what is the general census of opinion?
Most of my mileage home will be motorway and I've never ridden a auto bike before .
I took it easy at varying speeds for first 200 miles and then gradually go a bit more mental. What's the opinion on it?

I have run a few bikes in now, a couple of which are still going well over 80k miles.

Is sitting at a constant speed not good then?
I was a bit gutted to learn that there wasn't cruise control.
On my last bike I did 34 miles at mixed town speeds and then it sat on the motorway at 90mph for 600 miles to finish running it in. I just shut the throttle off every now and then to get some engine braking in.I was a bit gutted to learn that there wasn't cruise control.
My africa did approx 100 miles on country lanes and city driving and then it enjoyed some 90mph motorway work for a few hundred and then country lanes again.
Some people say constant speed is fine, some don't. I have just used it normally and not ragged the bks off of it for a few hundred.

Well that pee's all over my chips.
How did you find it,comfy, need to get off after an hour to stretch your legs?
As a man with a glass back I'm interested in people's thoughts on comfort.
It's been alright, only complaint was a numb bum towards the end but it's easy to stand on the pegs for a bit of relief. I varied my speed on the motorway, but that was easy enough on the A1, follow a truck overtaking for a minute, accelerate to the next one, and repeat... How did you find it,comfy, need to get off after an hour to stretch your legs?

I think around half of those sales must have come from this thread alone! Good effort.
At least! OP should be on commission.
Glad most of you managed to get one!

Wolfgang is great to deal with and will reply straight away. I just paid by PayPal £73. It was delivered in 4 days. You may have to wait a while longer as I believe the demand is high and he is getting another batch of 500 made.

I now have the batzen riser and the forkshield and buffeting has completely gone. So I can now cruise at speed in comfort without blurred vision and extreme wind noise.
I'll be ordering a batzen riser tomorrow I think, did it come quickly? I picked mine up yesterday and rode it the 200 miles home. The buffeting at motorway speeds was giving me a headache and sometimes my vision was getting blurry... I will have to address this soon. I'm thinking of getting a shorter screen and hopefully the air striking my head will be less turbulent. I've come from a naked street bike with no protection and never had these issues at the same speeds. I love the bike but it was hard to be enthusiastic when I arrived home feeling pretty ropey. How could Honda sign this off when so many people are having issues with the buffeting?!
The other thing I struggled with was the saddle; serious arse ache after a couple of hours. But the reality is I normally only ride for up to an hour at a time so I think I'll be leaving the saddle stock.
Anyway, enough moaning. Other than the above issues I a very happy chappy!!

I have read that a potential easy fix ( dependent on your height) is to put 3mm rubber spacers in the upper mounts on the standard screen.
This then makes the screen more upright and alters the air flow
With the batzen riser i have, on the lowest setting it is about 4cm higher and then i have a further 10cm of adjustment upwards.
