Parking up for the winter, who's done it yet?

This is my first year of owning two bikes, one will be rested over the winter. What's the script:
Store on rear paddock stand
Deflate tyres
Add and run fuel stabiliser (any recommendations or steer clears?)
Coat in AFC50
Anything else?
Don't have a trickle charge...
What is the bike (carbs or fuel inj) and where is it being stored (garage or outside)?Store on rear paddock stand
Deflate tyres

If it's fuel inj and inside then put it on a trickle charger (that you've just now bought!) and forget about it.
Fuel should get through 6 months in a modern petrol tank (you could give the bike a shake once a month to stop the ethanol separating out if you remember / can be bothered - I've gone backpacking for a year before and come back to no fuel tank issues). Fuel in the injectors and fuel rail will be entirely happy. If it's carbed either drain the float bowls individually or turn the fuel off and run it til it stops if it's got a fuel tap.
Not sure I could quite be bothered to pump up the tyres or let them down particularly if sticking on stand(s).
ACF50 is a thin oil coating that stops the corrosion if you're riding it through the Winter salt. If you're parking it up now-ish in a vaguely dry place then it barely needs it. Squirt of WD40 maybe?
You've notmentioned it but an oil change (if due) is best before storage rather than after it.

tbf, its not the cold that would instantly put me off going a ride, even though after October it doesn't rise much above 3 degrees.
It isn't the rain.
It isn't the fact you have about 6 hours of daylight in the winter up here.
It isn't the wind.
I could bare some of these just for the odd ride out to cheer me up.
It's the fking local Scottish councils gritting the bding roads within an inch of their lives. My fking cars falling to bits because of it. Ever since people got stuck on the motorway for days when it hit -18 degrees they have stockpiled the fk out of it encase of this eventuality again. Great, but if they don't use it all within the financial year, they won't get the same funds for the budget the next year. So even on the mildest of winters, you know where its 7 degrees, the fkers will be out covering the bding road. It's not even funny how much of this st can be over a road up here at any given time, it's like a crust.

It was 18 degrees down here yesterday and feels like it might be warmer today, I was going to retire the Tuono for the winter but think I may take it out over the weekend if it stays like this.
Thundercat will carry on through winter as it did last year with no cleaning, just general upkeep and will be doing a track day next weekend. Luckily living and working right by the sea means they don't need to grit the roads too much and it doesn't really get very cold here anyway.

My Tuono has been garaged for a while already dues to fuel pump failure, it'll get fixed over winter and taken off sorn come spring.
I have the VFR for commuting through winter so will still be biking.
My process is:
Both ends on paddock stands
Battery optimiser permanently attached
Tank off, drained and in the airing cupboard to shrink down (bloody ethanol)
Cover on
If either tyres aren't off the ground over inflate them to prevent flat spots.

Could some tell me where the salt is? I commute from Brum to Crewe everyday on my R6 and I've never seen any.
Also the only protection I have is one coat of Yamaha Weather Protection spray, which was done by the garage.
I have no idea what acf50 is, nor how to apply it, nor where the salt is. Only been riding (a big bike) for about a month now

I’m done with roads for the year. One last trackday jolly to Portimao then two of my trackbikes go up for sale.
Then it’s onto this for some fun in the mud. No idea why I’ve just fitted a load of new plastics as they’ll be fked inside 10mins
No idea whynones sideways but the bike will spend most ofjitsntime upside down so may as well get used to looking at it the wrong way round.
