A picture a day...biker banter (Vol 5)
Discussion
After all the recall work being done (who knew Brembo were putting plastic pistons in!) I also enjoyed the sunshine (as can be seen in this photo).
Did a load of great miles on valley roads and finding I'm liking the Borders and Dumfries and Galloway better than the Highlands. Less traffic and very little tourist traffic.

I head down to G+G all the time and even on the "busy" weekends its relatively quiet once esp if you keep clear of A75Did a load of great miles on valley roads and finding I'm liking the Borders and Dumfries and Galloway better than the Highlands. Less traffic and very little tourist traffic.

They're such a great looking bike, I think the best looking modern Triumph ever released
Thanks mate. I do think Triumph hit the nail on the head with this one the first time around and despite subsequent iterations, this bike never looked better than the first generation model did. They're great bikes though, fantastic to ride and with a great community supporting them. I've ridden quite a few Triumphs since and the T595 remains my favourite although the newer bikes are leagues ahead in many ways, the old Daytona will be staying a while yet! Janluke said:

Spotted this couple out yesterday.
I’m not knocking them for enjoying a motorcycling tour, but at what point do you say “nope - that’s too much stuff for a bike”?
Don’t let the wife do the packing...
That right bag isn't long for this world... Slightest bit of lean and it will be dragging.I’m not knocking them for enjoying a motorcycling tour, but at what point do you say “nope - that’s too much stuff for a bike”?

Silly sods.
For reasons I can't begin to explain, I bought a cheap R100 last year.
The paint was a bit tired, so I decided that something a bit different was in order.
The colour is a standard BMW offering, though I added the GS stripe for a bit of added bling.
It's like riding an enormous asthmatic purple horse.
