Ah, right.Totally off topic but can you imagine Dennis wife having her name called out in a Doctors surgery?
Apparently even after all these years she still colours up in those situations

The wheels aren't in the same place so the bike has been out and come back so on that basis I'd say the first picture is clean and the second is dirty
There was a seat cowl, belly pan and screen on the floor. The seat cowl was fitted and other two thrown in the bin, i think.jjones said:

The seat cowl was fitted and other two thrown in the bin, i think.Popped out for a ride today during a brief dry spell, and I may have been going a bit quick, and HWP went the other way. Thought I’d better lay low for a bit so turned off and went into some backstreets. Stumbled upon a sign for an ‘art gallery/sale’ so thought I’d have a look there. Saw a painting I thought would go alright in my place, but I went for a ride not fking art shopping, so had to go to a shop and buy rope n stuff and a bag to attach it to the bike.
Anyway, here’s the result of my adventure.

New bike day...
Put a hundred or so miles on it on the way home despite the high winds. Amazing bike, really pleased with it. Very comfortable, not at all tiring to ride, so confidence inspiring and loads of power to overtake. It's a 2014 KTM 1190 Adventure by the way.

Congrats! Great bikes and loved mine. Put a hundred or so miles on it on the way home despite the high winds. Amazing bike, really pleased with it. Very comfortable, not at all tiring to ride, so confidence inspiring and loads of power to overtake. It's a 2014 KTM 1190 Adventure by the way.
A couple of suggestions based on my experience....
1. Get the poor fuel dongle. Allows the electronic settings to be retained after ignition off.
2. Heat shield on right side under your thigh. This was roasting me and not fun in African heat.
3. Check your bike for the center stand recall. Early bikes were prone to snapping the center stand foot spigot
4. Airbox. Fit a decent filter system. The early air boxes leaked badly and let dust and dirt into the throttle bodies
5.Seat pad. Seat can be like park benches
6. Head bearing. Make sure the top race is tightened properly. Head shaking on deceleration is the giveaway
Enjoy!

Thanks. I think the previous owner was on top of a lot of this stuff as there's some serious heat deflection material under the seat. I'll check the rest though, cheers.A couple of suggestions based on my experience....

I took it out in the pouring rain yesterday... I'd just got it and sitting on it in the garage wasn't going to cut it. It's so confidence inspiring in the rain with all the crap on the roads. Really happy with it. Actually thoroughly enjoyed the ride despite the floods.
