A picture a day...biker banter (Vol 5)
Discussion
To give the full story, the snow started on our way down to the mod 1site, the roads were clear all the way there and the snow only really started sticking after we’d parked up.
We then had an hours warm-up in the test centre whilst the snow turned to rain and then spent the rest of the day riding round in torrential rain.
To be fair, I’m glad I had the opportunity to ride under instruction in bad weather - if the weather ever turns when I’m out for a ride, I won’t be too intimidated now.

Learn to ride a motorbike in January, they said. It’ll be fun, they said...
Yeah... no-one has ever said that. Apart from Australians.Just riding a motorbike in January is bad enough, fk trying to learn to ride one when you don't know what you're doing, or where the limits of traction are, or dodging numtpy drivers with 90% of their windscreen misted up.
Learn to ride in May or June, that's more like it. High teens or low twenties degrees Celsius, dry roads, warm tyres, ahhh...

Always good to get some instruction in the bad weather, it was freezing and wet when i was learning as well.
Good luck with the tests.
