Thanks again for the compliments. Good to hear you're enjoying it.
I have an Akrapovic full system (low-mount), restored, inclusive of a set of new Akrapovic Titanium sleeves (Carbon ones need replacing when they discolour due to heat after the wadding inside burns away), heat-proof decals, etc. - which I've stashed away as spare parts that I'll probably never use.
Could be persuaded to part with them if interested, although the low value of the £ and cost of shipping to U.K. from Japan might make the idea prohibitive...
Actually since the other above poster commented on a bike for sale with Akra cans, it spurred me on to have a look to see what bikes were around that could be liberated of their exhausts...and I'm just in the process of finalising a purchase of a low-mount slip-on (enough for me). Thanks for letting me know though, I might be picking your brains on fitment and sundry items shortly (I do recall seeing an installation PDF for the HRC branded Akra but have lost it ).I have an Akrapovic full system (low-mount), restored, inclusive of a set of new Akrapovic Titanium sleeves (Carbon ones need replacing when they discolour due to heat after the wadding inside burns away), heat-proof decals, etc. - which I've stashed away as spare parts that I'll probably never use.

Now to find a PCIIIusb for sale...

Picked up this new Royal Enfield Classic 500 last weekend. This will be one of the last ones as they have now discontinued the 500. It is a very different bike to what I've had previously, such as, Z900, 749S, F3 800, Monster 1200.
I absolute love it. Such a simple bike and just fun to thump along and enjoy the scenery. I must be getting old!

Exactly my sentiment about the Guzzi, although it's "modern" it's still basically a "small block" V twin like the one they made in 1979. I'd like a go on one of those Enfields. I reckon that's gotta be pretty close to a 1950s experience.I absolute love it. Such a simple bike and just fun to thump along and enjoy the scenery. I must be getting old!

Yeah I've actually wanted a V7 for a few years now but they were just a bit out of budget. The Enfield is such good value although a bit on the agricultural side but again that's part of the charm.horsemeatscandal said:
Just hit a brick. Kickstand, front wheel and cat damaged. Not the best day ever but st happens I suppose. At least I stayed on, and at least the fker somehow managed to not go through someone's windscreen.

That could of been so much worse and might just be nature's way of telling you you need a decat pipe!
Well the funny thing is, I was going to get one this month as a treat, but decided to get a new tablet instead as I fancy trying my hand at some graphic design stuff. And that's where I was on my way back from, picking the tablet up. So it really does feel like it the universe is trying to tell me something. Still waiting on recovery, at least it's not raining. Yet.

Fresh rubber fitted to the SP2 yesterday. The previous set were on the bike for at least 6 years sitting in someone's living room, so although legal were definitely past their best. Also had some naff white tyre pen highlights on the sidewalls, so glad I don't have to look at those anymore.
I also took the opportunity to ditch the wavy discs on the front, replaced with OEM standard.
Bonus shoutout to my recently acquired Abba stand. I don't know why I didn't get one ages ago.
SP2 looks great. I took mine out last week, always fun to ride. Forgot to shoot a pic, so here's one I took last year. I also took the opportunity to ditch the wavy discs on the front, replaced with OEM standard.
