How necessary is PPF in the UK? Can't remember the last time I got a stone chip on a bike.

Looks good though!
The paint is soft & I was seeing marks/buffing on the tank even after 3 short rides.

Thought I'd put some pics of my 2020 V4S up, which were taken when the PPF was installed.
How did you get on with the tail tidy, had a nightmare getting the loom inside the rear tail unit!

Took the old assembly apart and unclipped the connectors for indicators and number plate light first. Removed indicators to swap onto my new unit.

When it came to fitting the new one, I re-used the number plate light connector so used a small connector block (having cut it inside the long bit), so I'd say it was pretty easy.

I see, I used the new light fitting and connector which came with it, very long and a bit bulky, probably made it harder to get everything inside the tiny rear unit space! Wanted to be able to put it back to standard by just unplugging the wires. Sounds like I made it harder for myself!

I've been riding this for the past few weeks – absolutely love the colour scheme on it, and it's a charming thing. Needs to be louder though…

As an ex ducati scrambler owner I am a big fan of these. I quite fancy an older one to 'Moto Geo'

SC Project can on them turns the volume up to 11.

Does anyone know who this is and the bike they're riding?

For Christmas I was given a poster that has the image on and I'd love to find out more info about it

Cheers

Intriguing. I initially though T/GT500 but then saw that the header pipes are inside the frame rails...Anyone?

ETA: T350 Rebel?

EATA

I know the side panels are different, but the motor and exhaust position looks right

Looking harder the pic, does that side panel have a 2 on it?

Cheers Pothole, I think you're right on the money with the family of bikes but I can't quite make out what's on the side panel of the image I posted.

It looks more like the 350 I think. My googling skills aren't what they were though apparently as I'm struggling to get any matches!

It's now got a tail tidy, which improves the back end a lot.

Very impressed with the bike so far, but not going over 6k until after running in service (621 miles = 1000km).

After a good mate passed away in October (NOT COVID, incredibly), I was starting to test ride the 2020 1000cc sportsbikes (easier said than done), when lockdown hit us again, so with brexit looking and 2021 price increases looming large, I decided to let the heart rule the head for once. Was looking at a 916 Foggy edition, but didn't think the jump in price over the 2020MY bike was worth it and was offered a great deal to part ex my faithful GSXR1000K5.

Hoping we'll have chance to get out and enjoy this year. Happy New Year BB crew.
That is one stunning bike! My dream bike, enjoy!

Getting my boys Mx bike serviced by a mate who works on these for a living and saving me the job

Bikes done 57hrs so was a bit past it's need for a fresh top end (I work on 50hrs for a piston on a 4 stroke 25hrs on a 2 stroke)

It doesn't look too good though and first time I've had one look like this - especially surprised as it's a Honda which typically are solid

No running issues or loss of power but there's pitting and valves don't look healthy. I think it's sucked some dirt through when on track. Bikes been sat since October due to track closure from covid

Will need to get all new ordered
