That's a cracking photo.
What's the red bike? The scoops below the headlamps seem different from the white one.
I am partially asking as I saw a black Ducati that seemed 748/916 like last week, but something with the top of the fairing made me think SV650S or Triumph. The twin headlamps seemed more rounded and lozenge shaped than on the 748/916.
It's a Cagiva Mito, here they are side by sideWhat's the red bike? The scoops below the headlamps seem different from the white one.

A classic Gixxer1100 slabbie.. as a loaner?! That’s awesome.. I’d love that! So.. is it a case of never meeting your heroes? Back in '87 as a young pup starting my biking career I had a 86/87 Suzuki brochure that had the full Suzuki range in it from the lowly TS50/125/250X, the DRs, all the RG's, the GSX and the then new GSXRs.
It's amazing that in this age of models with niches within niches, the entire 1986/87 model range was in one skinny brochure.
Thumbed harder than a copy of Razzle!
It might even still be buried in the loft somewhere.
After months of diagnosing issues, blown ECU, throttle bodies all out of whack, rotten wiring harness, bad TPS, etc..
The simple joy of going out and making it back home, without an AA call, was fabulous.
So much so, I took the picture and sent it through to some family members to show them I'd not broken down!

Sounds like you're ownership experience has been a bit of a rollercoaster.

That looks quality - how are you finding it so far?PS - I'm also a Neal H - what are the odds?
I had an FZ1 Fazer for the last 10 years, so this feels quite different, much lighter and agile, it really tips into corners in a way the FZ1 didn’t. I’ve softened the dampers right down and while the ride is still fairly firm, I think the complaints about ‘too firm’ are exaggerated. The fly screen and visor combo work surprisingly well, wind blast at 60 mph is virtually non-existent and at 70 it’s absolutely fine. In the flesh, it’s a great looking bike. Early days, but so far I’m well pleased.
at "1 in 26".
We are on holiday in Wales, staying just outside Machynlleth, came down on the Africa Twin, wife brought the kids in the disco.
Lovely ride over, we have great views of the Dyfi Hills in Snowdonia national park from our cottage.
Sadly the weather has closed in and looks like it’s going to rain all week!
Here’s hoping we get a break in the rain.
