A picture a day...biker banter (Vol 5)
Discussion
After some much needed family time with a few days away I got back and knew a few mates were doing brands Indy evening
I was pushing it for time but decided to ride up and watch. When I got there there were just going out on their first session and it made me think I could try get on and do the remaining 3 sessions
60 quid later and an exhaust that literally *just* passed noise test I was on circuit
Literally as they queued up I was from the tyre pump trying to guesstimate how much air to take it! 3 great sessions though although it didn't do my road biased pirelli supercorsa SP v3s much good
Then went to the local pub round the corner... What a name. Going in was like going back to my youth in the 1990s. Really nice though and old school

30 years ago that wasn't a pub you'd be walking into on the offchance!! Local pub for local people and some very dodgy dealings going on..... I used to live less than a mile from there..... was bandit country

Ah, peagravel. The perfect way to hide freshly dropped screws nuts and washers.
Most of them were seized in and snapped anyway..Edited by tiffx19 on Wednesday 18th August 01:46
Great looking bike.
Here's my R100RT custom build. Cafe racer is a dirty word in some parts so I hesitate to use that expression but that's pretty much what I've built.
It has the forks and brakes from a 2008 GSXR 750 and lots of electrical wizardry which means it now has an alarm, tracker, remote controlled outputs for circuit testing plus lots more that I won't bore you with.
Last job is to fit the front mudguard and I'll re-do the exhausts this winter for something more interesting.

That looks cracking, good effort! It has the forks and brakes from a 2008 GSXR 750 and lots of electrical wizardry which means it now has an alarm, tracker, remote controlled outputs for circuit testing plus lots more that I won't bore you with.

Impromptu overnighter in Dumfries and Galloway I love taking the bike here, some of the quietest roads in Scotland
We stopped in Dumfries on our way back after a great run down through Irvine. Hotel had said it had secure parking but it turned out not to have. The bar and coffee shop was closed for refurbishment so the owner let us put the 2 bikes in there. Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
