Roadskin have a stand there this year - well worth a look, I'm very happy with my jeans.
Good shout I may Be up for some of these providing they aren’t silly cash !

I’ve got everything I need so far bat jeans but don’t want lined jeans with some Bungey waste which is all I’ve seen thus far !

I’m still confused why people think these shows are still the haven of all things cheap and that there’ll be a load of deals.

The trade stands won’t be cheap, nor will staffing them, nor will transporting the stuff there, nor is there’s an incentive to sell stock off cheaply before the season has even started.

This new fangled gismo called the Internet is the place for them to sell stuff cheaply when they want to. It’s not 1985 anymore.

Nope, as I've posted before I'm doing less motorbikes, more guns. This bike show clashes with a big gun show at NEC in Birmingham also this weekend where I'm planning on buying more guns.

Guns get stolen much less than bikes.
The police really will try to find your guns if they get stolen.
Shooting at stuff is lower risk of injury than riding a bike.
Guns are cheaper than bikes.
Ammunition is cheaper than petrol.

Although ive already bought a new bike it's still nice having a mooch about at other models

Not to mention having a stand costs a fortune!

Either way, i'll be there for a day out, good to meet up with friends and have a mooch around.

Oh a .50 BMG. That's expensive for a gun, but even an expensive gun only costs as much as a very low end bike!

Hadn’t been for a number of years so actually enjoyed the show .
Not least of all because having just ordered a 900RS I got to see the custom paint jobs on offer prior to taking delivery of the bike .

The one of the Kawasaki stand was amazing so I’ve called my dealer and gone for it .

Hell, life’s too short to miss out on that colour scheme !

Went today and thought it wasn't bad, missed the NEC in November due to work.

A few thoughts...

No bargains to be had. Everything I saw could be had online for the same or cheaper.

Excel is a nightmare to get to from deepest, darkest Wiltshire.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100, and the V4 Panigale are beautiful. The V4 is really stunning.

No MV Augusta was a shame.

The guy Indian had singing and playing guitar was terrible.

The Norton V4 is incredible. But then it should be for that much...

Still not sold on TFT screens on bikes.

Honda's current line-up is lacklustre at best. Nobody was interested in the naked fireblade.

I think the NEC show is better, but it was still a good day out.

Tks.

As per the above post I thought the Suzuki stand was probably the least interesting . It just didn’t seem to add anything exciting .

The Indians I thought were lovely although one that was over in the corner had a 5k body kit added to the price tag .

For me the dealer that impressed me the most was bmw . Lots of bikes and help to discuss detail about them .

Looks like the F1 decision about girls looking pretty had some influence on things too!

I was very disappointed to see it was only occupying a quarter of the venue. I probably won’t go again. There wasn’t enough to hold my interest for more than three hours.

Agreed 3hrs is long enough .

I’d not been for many years so it was something very new again but the chances of me going next year are slim .

Many Tks just seeing if I can get my order changed to a base paint bike then get it custom painted .

Been into cars for the last ten yrs but now back into bikes and more excited than I have been over cars for some time .

Thinking the custom paint job will finish the bike off nicely

Great choice - I think Kawasaki are onto a winner with the new 900RS.

The show was better than I was expecting and much better than last time I went. Not that big and few bargains but still plenty to look at. To be fair I didn’t think price was unreasonable. Fortunately we didn’t have to pay for our parking, but Excel is easily accessible by DLR so there was always the option to park at one of the nearby hotels and take train in. Opted to nip out and get food in the central mall. 7 quid for Thai curry and no queuing so no complaints there.

New Panigale V4 is a stunner. Saw Chris Walker fire up the H2R Nd listened on until it tickled my eardrums.

Didn’t take many pics but here’s a few bikes that caught my eye

I thought there was some great bikes at the show and a good seduction of different bikes for all ages .

The Kawasaki stand I thought was lots better than Yamaha and Suzuki which is why I’ve gone for the painted z900 RS.

Loved the Harley and Indian stands too which have opened my eyes to other bikes .

Getting my pained RS mid March and am really excited about coming back to biking .

Roll on spring and summer !

I went Sunday, highlights looked and sat on the Speed RS, H2 SX and panigale v4. Ironically got unrestricted view of the z900RS in the brown and orange at the start of Dec in Thailand, bike show in a shopping mall with minimal interest from the locals so seeing it again I still quite like the look of it but i didn't have to force my way just to look at it. Kawasaki and triumph particularly did a good job. Oh I sat on the blade really does nothing for me. Love the h2 sx.
