Will stay up to watch the qualifying, may have to set the alarm for the race though.
I'm hoping the Ducatis have some success this year, would love to see Chaz Davies put up a proper challenge, or anyone other that Rea really.

Looking forward to racing being back on the box, i just hope its a little more interesting than last year.

I'm relying on Camier to come to the party this year with the Honda and get in amongst the Kwakas

I have been a WSB fan since the beginning.......was at Brands when 120,000 watched Foggie.

But now, I think MotoGP offers more competitive racing with many riders in the top ten could make the podium.

WSB is just a two horse race, with Ducati maybe spoiling the Kawasaki 1,2 ?

Let see if this year is different, but it looks like "same, same".

As much as I'd rather be watching BSB or MGP, it's great there's some bike racing back on TV.
Bugger staying up to watch it all though, so I've series linked it and I'll watch it in the morning
Is it race Qualifying & Saturday / race Sunday again ?

Was also at Brands that year too smile 120k people in Brands was seriously busy for a minority sporting event lol I think they capped the numbers after that year.

I'll revise my view of WSB if we see anything different after Race1.. I went to Donnington last year and enjoyed it but it wasn't like the late 90s early 2000s were at Brands.. Went 4 years running back to back.

Start watching the American Supercross series. MX bikes but always worth a watch. That said, this season has been a slow starter with injuries etc taking people out but should make for a good race to the title come the end of the season.

Supercross is always a sort of endurance event, they race every week for months with only a week break, it is about as hardcore as it gets.

SBK has lost its way in recent years.

Best racing for years has often been in Supersport. Wont be staying up, annoying as I dont have catch up, and PI is usually a great event and racing.

Oh dear. More tyre woes from Phillip Island, mandatory pit stops for SS and WSB race too. Rea had problems in race 1 last few laps.

Quite good racing, particularly race 2. I'm parked up on the sofa with a dodgy back looking out the window at the blue skies...

Trouble is with WSB is the recent years trend of moaning about it being boring before they even watch it.

Really enjoyed this weekend's racing the rules seem to have closed things up, the Yamaha's look like they're using their tyres up more than everyone else.

Toprak impressed me over the weekend he seems to have the talent that will lead to a better bike, it's going to be close between Ducati & Kawasaki especially as I can see all four riders winning this season so they'll be taking points of of each other.

I temper this with the fact Phillip Island is a unique track so it could all mean nothing smile

Pity Dorna made a complete arse of the coverage at the pit stops, otherwise some good racing.

Best racing in WSB for years, thoroughly enjoyed that.
