I just put my Sky Box and XBox ONE into a cabinet with a closed front. Ideally, I'd like to not have to open the door to use the remote, si I have been looking at Sky Box infrared extenders. Is there some version that could do the same job for both the Sky Box AND the XBox at the same time?

I'm a technical idiot... will this just plug in and work for both things at the same time?

Shouldn’t need one for the XBox, I am sure the controllers are Bluetooth.

So a simple Sky Eye kit should be fine just to target the sky eye control.

It would, there's 4 emitters, you either stick them on directly in front of the IR sensor or just generally drape them somewhere near. I have one emitter stuck on a shelf in front of 2 devices.

Although as Vex says I'm beginning to doubt the XBox needs IR (I'm a Playstation man myself)

Hopefully I will only need it for the Sky Box then... I've just ordered it.

Again, forgive my lack of technical brain, but will I simply plug it into the sky box one end, then put the receiver bit somewhere where the remote can "see it" so it works? If so, what part of the Sky Box does it plug into?
