Just back from 10 days away with the family. I parked the Disco in the long stay holiday inn car park at Heathrow, seemed fairly busy, covered by CCTV etc.

I parked in a space next to an immaculate S3 in the hope they wouldn’t bang their doors in to mine. Unfortunately this poor S3 owner has this to come back to. Utterly gutted for the poor owner who will come back to have to sort this out.

Holy fk frown

I assume the broken windows are a result of the thieves looking for the locking wheel nut key and spare tyre!

That really sucks ..

Im guessing thats why the windows are smashed, the glove box was open but I would assume the locking wheel nut may have been in the boot hence the rear smashed window.

Someone has obviously tried to make it water tight but the passenger side window covering had ripped open, it looked wet inside as I think its rained a lot here this week. There was a note inside to the owner saying please call 101 ref crime ref no. etc etc.

Im surprised it hadn't been taken away either by the Police or the Hotel must have the owners details. The rain wont be doing the interior any good. If I was the owner I would want to know so I could be making arrangements asap, holiday or no holiday. Absolute nightmare poor sod. The only slight positive was I didn't see kids seats in the back. Even my 5 and 7 year old were quite concerned.

My car had marks up the side in the dust where it had been leant on but couldn't see any scratches.

Scum, after being in Dubai where you can comfortably leave you room key, phone and money on you sun lounger while you go for a swim and be sure it wont have been touched I think we need to wake up and get a grip pretty damn quickly!

Are you ok if I post the photos to the Audi S3 owners club page on Facebook?

Do you know the full reg?

I bet someone knows the vehicle and will be able to contact the owner. As you say, it can't be good it sitting out in the rain like that.

I wouldn't leave a car in a st carpark, especially round London. Anything German and new will be be ripped apart, luckily you have an old undesirable car op.

So it looks like someone from the Holiday Inn has covered and taped the windows after the wkers vandalised it, and then subsequently another wker has come along and got in through the film on the passenger door to see if anything else is worth nicking?

I had my van broken into in South London a few years back when I went for a curry after work before going home. It was parked in the rear yard of the company I worked at that day and they had st CCTV on the yard. We were gone for 90 mins.
Watching the CCTV we saw one guy walk past and then return, looking in all the windows and draping himself over the bonnet. He disappeared for a short while then returned to put in the driver's window. Unfortunately my passenger had left a laptop in the back (had I known I would have told him to take it with us, but he is German and probably doesn't expect the number of useless wkers we have here) and this was stolen along with his camera.
The real icing on the cake was that around 20 mins later some scummy fat bint walking a dog passes by and then returns and climbs in the passenger door. She stole my Raybans.

There was some justice, we were working there for a few days and, on a hunch I found the guy trying doors on cars in a nearby street later.

That’s horrible to see imagine flying back late and tired and finding your car trashed like this.

Id rather have my Disco than a car I have to worry about coming back to that mess or having my house broken in to to knick the keys any day. How are you supposed to know how secure any parking is until you arrive and sus it out. It had high security fencing around the perimeter, is covered by CCTV, is in view of the hotel reception and has cars coming in and out 24hrs a day. There is no such thing as a secure car park anymore.

Bloody hell, thats bad! Can't think how i'd feel coming back to that after a long flight, the poor sods.

Absolute scum about, I didn't think stealing wheels was still a thing (thought that was the 90s to be honest!). Glad nobody wants my old sheds or their wheels.

I'd risk doing time for what I'd do to someone I caught in the middle of having that kind of go at my car. I fking hate thieves.

Yeah me too. Can’t imagine the hassle arriving back on a flight in the early hours and finding this. At least if they know they can make alternate plans and potentially have the car recovered whilst they’re away.

That’s a shame. It’s sad that people are out there doing this. I’ve noticed a few bmw msport owners complaining about their steering wheels being stolen.

I hope they didn’t damage the disco in anyway

I'd tweet that pic at the hotel, ask them to get in touch with the owners if they haven't already. I would be beyond gutted to come home to that.

Just remembered I took a pic before I left just in case I forgot where I’d parked. You can just see one of the wheels on the left.
