Secure Bike Parking in York? Or Biker Friendly Cafes?

I'm currently working in Malton and am staying in an airbnb place that is lovely, but in the middle of nowhere and without food making facilities.

Seeing as though it's half decent tonight I was thinking of taking a ride in to York after work, kill a couple of hours there and grab a bite to eat as well.

I'm fairly familiar with York itself, Just not its bike parking facilities.

For what it matters the bike is an S1000R and the only security I have with me is a disklock, though I feel that I may have left the key at home

The other alternative is to head to a local biker type café thingy assuming that there are any around here?

Suggestions?

Squires bikers cafe isn't far from York, tbh I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my bike parked up anywhere in York with just a disklock.

I'm of the same opinion as you.

Scarborough isn't too far away either so I might have a blat through and grab some fish and chips instead.
