Your ignorance never ceases to amaze HLK. If you have nothing constructive to add other than your truths based on interwebs comments maybe remember the ever true axiom of "it's better to close your mouth and be thought a fool than open it and prove them right" wink

Remember that experience trumps conjecture every time.

Why is it shame?
Is it "the sound" malarkey again or you are upset that BMW IL4 is not as expensive to maintain as Aprilia V4?

That rear subframe just doesn't look right in my opinion, it looks nice on its own, but just not on that bike.

You don’t have a question. Only unsubstantiated opinions garnered from your internet reading.
Opinions need to be based on real experience and knowledge and to do otherwise is a sign of ignorance and arrogance.
I might suggest a few more years experience with bikes of many kinds to actually establish a basis of opinion derived from your real world findings rather than others pub talk.
As a comparison, consider those people who might equally disparage a particular nation and people based on what they’ve read but never experienced.
I’m sure you understand that.......

What do we mean by personality disorder ?
If we diagnose someone with a personality disorder in psychiatry. What we basically mean is that they have a fixed behaviors and beliefs that are ingrained.
These features can't be changed and are harmful or detrimental to the person with the disorder, or they are harmful or detrimental to others who come into contact with them.
So it's like an extreme form of normal behavior that doesn't shift.
There are numerous types of personality disorders. These people are arguably not ill but have traits such as obsessional behaviors and impulsive behaviors that are more extreme than most of us.

The Bmw presentation has something to live up to.

Ducati V4R 16,500 rpm 217bhp euro 4.
234bhp with the race exhaust.

Wow.

It's probably also going to cost nearly twice what the new s1000rr will cost in standard trim. Agreed though, it's stunning.

Again, a lot of patronizing talk, but where is the answer to my simple question?
Now is your chance to actually say something of value.

P.S. You do not seem to be able to separate really disparaging words about people ("in Switzerland they are all nazis and wkers" as was said once, if that is what you are referring to) from an absolutely innocent comment about an inanimate thing (engine) based of facts (IL4 has different sound and cheaper service costs compared to V4). High service costs of Aprilia V4 I have picked up from an acquaintance who is Aprilia mechanic.

Actually I would like to thank you for making my point far better than I could ever hope.
The statement centred on the point of people making sweeping statements not based on their own experiences bit on heresay and unproven statements from others
As such, those statements such as " are you upset that the OL4 doesn't cost as much to maintain as the V4" are made by a person who has no real world experience of either marques. Hence they are as worthwhile as am ignorant and baseless comment about a country and its inhabitants. And FTR, you stated Switzerland not me.
But in closing I'm sorry the nights are drawing in and your cycle riding is curtailed but never forget that continued social interaction, empathy and good listening skills are the key to social development in the young.
You'll make your dad so proud when you can touch the floor on his bikes.
Youth.... it's wasted on the young..... wink

So you have nothing constructive to add, to educate someone with less experience, given your extensive experience (as one can deduce from all these long condescending diatribes of yours).
I do not have to justify my experience to you, I have some, maybe less then you, but that does not matter.

It would be so easy to show how grown up and wise you are by just giving an answer to my question, but you just keep on whining and throwing words like "you are ignorant, arrogant, fool", some kindergarten bull like "you make your dad proud" etc, all that overbearing and condescending stuff. My God, what a bore you are.

Two further points:
1. The talk about Switzerland - not me but one of the other non-hearsay forumites on BB.
2. I am pretty sure the Honda and now Aprilia mechanic knows what he knows after years of working on these things. If that's hearsay for you - be my guest.

Just to clarify for HLK
A tad is two dashes or four pinches or eight Smidgeons. But it goes without saying it’s not as much as a smattering.

Is there something wrong in saying that I like the looks of that bike but would not buy it because of the service costs and potential problems (which are known)?
I mean, what IS your problem?

What is "experience" that you are talking about all the time? Seriously, you make no sense.

You still did not answer the question I posed about the engine, all I have heard from you so far is bull-st and personal insults.

Ok, I give up, bask in your own self-righteousness and "experience" superiority.
