I thought we could have a similar thread as the trackday thread but for those of us who ride off-road. Anything from green lanes, trials, motorcross, enduro or any mix of inbetween.

I'm hoping to get out a lot more on my KTM this year so would be good to meet more like-minded folks from here

I'm more enduro practice focused than anything but occasionally will play on an MX track and I'll aim to get the KTM MOT'd this year. No more riding for me until March as I don't want to risk injury before going to Spain

Over to you lot!

Oh and of course a photo because threads are better with pictures

Does crashing on the commute count as technically that often involves going 'off road' ??

Best bet is keep trawling related facebook pages or gumtree and a bargain will come up. I managed to bag my KTM for approximately 20% under the market value by biding my time.

Is there much in the way of enduro practices up your way?

My Son is a handy Trials rider in the Yorkshire centre. A few do Enduros and we have a few spots you can practice both.

Doing a moped endurance race at Weedon MX track in April.

Using the mighty TS

Then hopefully doing the KTM MX day at some point. Really considering taking up MX this year.

I've got a Stomp Motard (140cc pitbike) with dirt wheels on. I've got slicks for it too, but it's better on dirt. I've been to Mildenhall MX a couple of times and want to do more.

Had to do the oil change on the CRF250L, and also replace the brake pedal as it had bent in a bit from me dropping the bike a few times.

Go out on my Africa Twin every other weekend with a bunch of folks. We do mainly Big Bikes, 990, 1290, 1190s and my Honda with some guys on smaller bikes.

Bill does the camera work, you can see the other stuff he gets up to!

Looks like you need more off-road biased tyres.

Need more practise tbh - tyres are Motoz Tractionator Adventures - I use my bike 5 days a week to commute to work, so these are perfect to save me having to change wheels at weekends. Hopefully with more time I'll be a lot more fluent and have better clutch control and balance (only been riding since April).

I'm skills are the limitation not the tyres smile

Awesome! Ever thought about doing the nifty fifty endurance? Quite a few people do both I think and it's a good laugh in the name of charity.

We have been using out Honda MT5 with a C90 motor in it for a few years now. 5 hour off-road event on anything from twist and go 50cc mopeds, C90's, hybrids like ours or Derbi senda's!

That looks good fun but at nearly 300 mile round trip for me I think I'll be giving it a miss!

We've looked at doing it a few times but the dates have always clashed with other things. It's definitely on our radar though.

It's amazing how much fun you can have on a 50!

Wholeheartedly agree! Thrashing the pants off an old piece of crap is brilliant fun. If you manage to make it to any of the Nifty dates make sure you give me a shout thumbup

I had my first proper go back on an mx track in 5 years 2 weeks back before the majority of tracks froze over

My minds willing but my body isn't. Its such a tough sport - track days are a piece of piss physically in comparison

I'll be out and about though over East Anglia area mainly mx tracks

Planning do to some trial riding this year in Europe with my son and dad if I convince the old timer

I've been back on a bike the last 4 years after about 15 years off since I was a kid. I've now got a KTM EXCf 350 Sixdays.

My brother and I have got our first proper enduro race next weekend."The Snow Run" in deepest darkest, and probably wettest, mid Wales. Im excited and bricking it in equal measure!
