Hi got a long euro trip coming up and need some Bluetooth headphones for under the helmet for the long motorway sections. What's your recommendations ?

Cheers

If you specifically want earphones then I'd recommend the Ultimate Ears custom option.

Can't you just use a sena or equivalent and have what you want plus Intercom as and when you might need it?

^ this.

After 10 years riding without intercom, some friends and I bought PackTalks a couple of years ago and it's the single most transformative thing I've ever bought for motorcycling, it makes riding with friends so much more sociable, it helps prevent the lead rider going the wrong way and allows music/mobile phone etc too.

Be aware that in a number of European countries wearing "in ear" devices is illegal. Not a huge issue unless you get a tug for speeding or something, at which point it's just another thing to add to the ticket and lighten your wallet.

I've used BT intercoms (currently Pack Talk) for a number of years now and can only say good things about them. Any of the big names are good, just make sure you get the same make as your mates if you're riding in a group.

I wore earphones for a long time, Shure E315's fitted nicely, but last year I got an Interphone Tour for a 3 day trip to Wales on a whim.

Never looked back!

It makes a world of difference.

There is no pain from prolonged wear.
You can pause the music etc. when you want easily with gloves on.
No fiddling around with earphone fitting and wires when you take your helmet off.
You can take a call (and tell them to call back) quickly,
You can use it as an intercom very easily.
You can use voice command for the phone quite easily, as much as your voice assist allows.

I really wish I'd done it sooner.

I also have an interphone (f5mc?) It's awesome, you can wear earplugs to stop being deafened by the wind noise, but still hear music, calls and intercom chit chat.

So good I got a second fitting kit and added it to my ear defenders I wear in the kit car (the head unit is interchangeable, so only need an extra set of speakers and mic)

Plugfones Guardian Plus are good enough, albeit not Bluetooth. I use them every day for commuting, plus a Bluetooth controller for volume on my bars.

They do a BT version as well for a lot more money, but based on the durability of the Guardian Plus (I broke my first set in about 9 months) I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much...
