Well if you’re going down that route.
Get fked, numb nuts.
And fall off soon, there’s a good chap.
Wow. And you complain about GS riders.Get fked, numb nuts.
And fall off soon, there’s a good chap.

I agree with the crossflow Kid on the first two sentences. Third is a bit off.
I think this thread might be about to explode again.
I managed to have a decent run today on my roadbike for only the second time this year. I’ll admit I may have ridden a bit fast in places, but fk me every fking adventure bike was being ridden by Johnny Upright and his Road Captain mates, all of whom seemed happy to sit behind Mr 40mph in an NSL, but make sure they made overtakes even more awkward with their road positioning.
It’s no wonder adventure bike riders get stereotyped and ridiculed.

I usually see the same with someone on a sports bike with no idea how to ride it.(which is most sportsbike riders I see)
Being taken on the outside by a GSA rider in full ttsuit must be demoralising for them to say the least.
Except you don’t really do you? You’d have mentioned it earlier if you did. Being taken on the outside by a GSA rider in full ttsuit must be demoralising for them to say the least.

I do actually but never felt the need to point it out until someone else takes a pop at a stereotype they perpetuate.
As an aside, most of the guys I know who have been killed on bikes did so on sports bikes they never had the skill to ride.
The stereotype was perpetuated by the riders of the adventure bikes. That’s pretty clear if you read my post. As an aside, most of the guys I know who have been killed on bikes did so on sports bikes they never had the skill to ride.
I’m never going to claim to be the greatest rider, but I do OK.

I stopped to ask if he was OK and needed help. He said he was Ok.There were quite a few others already there
I can also verify it, it was an adv bike, Lindun said:
Yeah, I should have taken a photo. Others on here may choose to verify it. Maybe you can call them liars too.
Handy things action cams, you can also take stills from them which proves the fact that the riders of them can't really ride for st and have to compensate by having the biggest panniers fitted known to man whilst riding down the a684 in between latte stops

I’m just about to get a super adventure S, I hate that it’s got the word adventure in it and super come to think of it, I’m getting it as it’s a comfy superduke with longer suspension and can carry luggage for the crap uk roads, and before people say the GT, yes it’s what I wanted originally but I’m getting a great deal on the S.
I’m a 6’2” and 15.5 stone and it fits me well.
I hate how categorised bikes have become, people wearing off road gear and not going off-road , people wearing full on race replica kit and don’t go on track, can’t we all just enjoy biking and not worry what other people think.
