Hopefully another US west coast trip in the spring, then finally buy a bike of my own later next year. I keep getting very tempted by the Tigers and R1100R/RTs I see for ~$2000-2500 on Craigslist.
I checked your profile - another UK'er residing in the US like me! I have some recommendations of excellent roads and places to visit if you havent done it before and could even meet up for part of it too!
Thanks! I'll get in touch.

Hoping to do a tour of some kind, Spain would be nice, had my license two years now and not managed to do anything yet, hoping mate gets a new bike soon after he had to sell his to get a mortgage.
Maybe change my MT09 SP for something else, looking at possibly commuting to Bristol for new job so something with a bit more protection from the elements perhaps.
Had mine for two years as well and also in Bristol and also want to go to Spain... Strange. ;D

Make the most of 3 days at Almeria and 3 days at Brno, do as many uk track days as I can fit in and also get a few more road miles done than what I have this year.
The big one though is try and finally get me a super duke which I’ve been waiting patiently for biggrin

As many weekends away camping as I can manage. I didn't do a single trip this year which has been rubbish.

Plans for 2020.

To get out more on my trials bikes to get bike fit and improve riding skills.

Booked up for Harley Rally in early May near St Tropez.

Booked again for Mini Mondo in Pyrenees first week in June.

May upgrade turbo busa so cure its sluggishness and go faster than 214 mph.

Hopefully do some track days with my sons.

My aim is to actually get out on the bike again. Didn't manage it this year, not even for it's annual mot.

Mine was going to be: pick up my 1100 Africa twin as early as possible, but that’s now going to be tomorrow: win win smile

So mine are:
Go ride around Scotland (booked for May).
Go ride around the Pyrenees (booked for October)
Get my RR around Snetterton quicker than 2.20. Which I know is more than possible, but I just need to learn how.
And finally (same as every year) try and get my knee down.

I actually did ok this year, to say we’ve got a two year old. Went to the TT again and a fair few local rides. Last few months were lost due to an insurance claim though (MV Agusta aren’t too quick with parts.)

Next year we have another little one coming, so if I can get out for the odd ride here and there I’ll consider it a victory... No more euro trips for just now sadly.

TT with my son. It will be his first time over on his own bike. The TT is always a blast.

Some more trackdays.

Hopefully either a trip to Scotland for a week or a trip to the Black Forest as I'm not doing the Old Gits this year. Scotland was awesome when I last went in 2008.

Only got my licence in the summer so planning for my first big trip next year. Planning on two and a bit weeks in Spain in May; Going to spend 5 days in the Picos de Europa (and hopefully get a bit of hiking in also) followed by a quick blast towards Seville where the family will join me for a week in a villa. Looking forward to it!

Take your new girlfriend?
biggrin I wish!! I'm not quite sure how to acquire one these days - back in the day I would chat up a bird (often unsuccessfully) in the pub. These days it seems the new fangled internet is required; I'm not sure where to start, but PH may not be the ideal place to ask....
I know you'll not necessarily be looking for one so soon, but I met my wife on Tinder.

To answer the OP: finally get my Speed Four back on the road and in saleable condition so as to sell it and buy a bimble bike. Something older and slower to mooch about on on dry days when going fast is not what I feel like, preferably something a bit unusual to spark conversation at bike nights...go to more bike nights/events/meets. Brackley festival if I can, probably both Stafford shows as usual, some rideouts with my new MC. Here's hoping for a dry summer!!

My goal for this year is buy a Ducati s4r and ride it to Italy in the summer. Not had a bike for a couple of years and gagging to get going again!

In addition to some more UK rallies, six of us are hiring Street Glides and doing a two week, San Francisco-Mammoth Lake - Las Vegas-Palm Springs-San Diego-LA-San Francisco round trip in August.

Cannot wait......
Ah, sounds great! Send me a message - I am up at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and done the similar ride several times. Have some recommendations and ideas of where great roads are. Actually doing a ride from SF to Vegas via Palm Springs in January (yes, not ideal, but will be great). And could even meet you for a bit of the ride too!
Will do. We're staying off the freeways as much as possible and for 'short runs' such as Palm Springs to San Diego, taking an extended 'scenic route' to get as much bike time as possible. Once I've put them together, I'll send you the Google Maps routes we will be taking if you want?

For me;

Euro Track Day while England is cold in Feb...think I'll do Almeria
Nurburgring April
Big Tour around June time. Not completely planned yet but it'll be setting off from Hook of Holland and ride all round Europe for 9-10 days until getting to Calais and back to England. Still working out places to stay and see but that should be good
A track day a month from April
A few races on the old MX bikes if I can

Treat myself to a new lid. Had a pair given to me in my racing days back in 2004. I’ve kept my head up in all my crashes since but they’ve now rotted out the linings and barely make the grade as plant pots!

Booked a 3 day enduro tour of the Spanish Sierras with RedTread in February to banish the mid-winter blues.

Finish off the build-up of a 700 quid Y2K R1 wreck bought recently and take it out to Portimao in May and Assen in Sept for normal trackday fun & games.

Give the old high mileage ex-trackday red & white 1998 R1 a bit of revival for the odd sneaky road thrash, bike meets and two-up trips to the coast.

Bought a little campervan last month (yay!) for heading off to the MotoGP at Jerez, Mugello or KymiRing (still undecided which) on a 2 week jolly with the road bike in the back. Finland is currently fave but the wife has just written off the van after just a fortnight (boo!) so literally everything in my life is a project / pile of parts / needs work.
